The ethnology section highlights the lifestyles and traditions of the local ethnic groups, particularly the EdeJa Rai, and M’nong, through displays of traditional costumes, musical instruments, tools, and artifacts, and the history section covers the region's history from ancient times to the modern era, including exhibits on the resistance against colonialism and the Vietnam War.

Moving out of the busy BMT city we will visit the cocoa plantation where we will have time to explore the plantation as well as try a cup of hot/ ice chocolate. Keep going on our motorbike and stop at the village where local people make incense, noodles, and mushrooms.

DAY 2: LAK LAKE → TA DUNG: 130 KM

Begin your day in the peaceful setting of Lak Lake, where calm waters reflect the surrounding mountains and rice fields. In the early morning, enjoy a gentle walk along the lakeshore and breathe in the fresh air of the Central Highlands.

You will visit a nearby M’nong ethnic village, home to traditional longhouses and a rich cultural heritage. Here, you’ll gain insight into local daily life and long-standing traditions. A wooden dugout canoe ride on Lak Lake offers a quiet and scenic way to experience the area from the water (subject to weather conditions; the canoe ride may be canceled in strong winds).

Say goodbye to the authentic and peaceful Ta Dung Lake, as we begin our journey toward Da Lat via some of the most beautiful countryside roads in the Central Highlands. Today’s ride offers a perfect combination of stunning landscapes, local culture, and iconic attractions.

Our journey continues to the magnificent Pongour Waterfall, one of the most beautiful and impressive waterfalls in southern Vietnam. Surrounded by lush greenery and wide rock terraces, this waterfall is an ideal place to relax, take photos, and enjoy nature.

Leaving Ta Dung, we travel through rolling hills, farmland, and quiet rural villages, enjoying the fresh air and scenic views along the way. Our first stop is a local coffee plantation, where you’ll learn about Vietnam’s coffee culture and taste different varieties such as Robusta, Arabica, and weasel (civet) coffee.

We then continue to visit a local family, where you’ll have the chance to try the strongest traditional homemade rice wine, offering a true taste of highland hospitality and local life.

Next, we stop at a silk worm factory, where you can see the fascinating process of silk production — from silkworm cocoons to finished silk products — and learn about this traditional local industry.

After that, we visit Elephant Waterfall, another highlight of the region. Nearby, you’ll explore a Buddhist temple complex, home to a giant Happy Buddha statue and the tallest Lady Buddha statue in southern Vietnam (71 meters high).
