TOUR DESCRIPTION

This 3-day Vietnam motorcycle adventure from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City offers an unforgettable journey through the Central Highlands and southern countryside. From majestic waterfalls and coffee plantations to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, this trip combines breathtaking landscapes, authentic local culture, and powerful historical insight.

DAY 1: DA LAT → TA DUNG (160 KM)

We begin our adventure in the cool mountain city of Da Lat, riding through scenic countryside roads surrounded by pine forests and rolling hills.

Our first stops include a visit to a local coffee plantation, where you will learn how coffee is grown and processed in Vietnam, including Robusta, Arabica, and Moka varieties. You will also discover the unique production of weasel coffee.

We then visit a traditional silk factory to see how silk is made from cocoons, followed by a stop at Elephant Waterfall — one of the most impressive waterfalls in the region. Nearby, we explore a Buddhist temple

featuring a large Happy Buddha statue and the tallest Lady Buddha statue in southern Vietnam.

Continuing our journey, we ride through peaceful rural villages and farmland before reaching Pongour Waterfall, famous for its wide, multi-tiered cascade surrounded by lush forest.

Leaving the highlands of Lam Dong behind, we head toward Ta Dung through winding mountain roads and expansive forest landscapes.

Ta Dung Lake is often called the “Ha Long Bay of the Highlands” thanks to its hundreds of green islands rising from emerald waters. We arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy panoramic views over this breathtaking natural paradise.

DAY 2: TA DUNG → DONG XOAI (160 KM)

After breakfast, we continue riding along sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. This meaningful route offers not only spectacular mountain scenery but also deep historical significance.

We stop at a Martyrs’ Cemetery to learn about Vietnam’s wartime history and pay respects to those who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Along the way, we visit local farms and plantations such as cashew fields, pepper farms, and seasonal fruit orchards. At a cashew processing facility, you will see how cashew nuts are carefully processed by hand before being distributed to domestic and international markets.

We also visit a local wood-processing workshop to gain insight into small-scale industry and traditional craftsmanship in the region.

Enjoy scenic viewpoints overlooking rolling hills and untouched forests before arriving in Dong Xoai in the late afternoon.

DAY 3: DONG XOAI → HO CHI MINH CITY (150 KM)

On our final day, we ride toward Cu Chi District for one of the most historically significant visits of the tour.

The legendary Cu Chi Tunnels are an extensive underground network stretching over 250 kilometers. Used during the Vietnam War, the tunnels served as living quarters, supply routes, communication centers, and defensive strongholds. You will gain insight into the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese people while exploring parts of this remarkable underground system.

After the visit, we continue riding along peaceful countryside roads before gradually returning to the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City.

We arrive in the late afternoon, concluding an unforgettable 3-day motorcycle journey through Vietnam’s highlands, history, and rural life.

  • Pick up time: 8:30 am at your hotel or requested area in HCMC city 

  • We can tailor a tour to your preferences and desired dates

  • During the trip, we provide private rooms at the homestay or local hotel. If you want to upgrade to a higher hotel standard, please request it which incurs an extra charge

  • For group tours, if a guest requests a private room, an additional surcharge will apply

  • The tour price does not include a support vehicle but we can arrange this service for an additional cost if needed

  • The tour cost can be changed depending on the low/high tourist season or other special requests, please contact us to get the right price for your tour

  • Due to weather conditions, seasonal factors, and crop cycles, the itinerary may be adjusted and may not follow the original program 100%. Any changes will be informed at the time of booking. Thank you for your understanding

  • Passengers sitting behind self-riding partners will be charged 70% of the $300 USD fee.
