TOUR DESCRIPTION
This Easy Rider - Motorbike Tour 6-day via Ha Giang and Cao Bang is unforgettable for you to explore Northeastern Vietnam by motorbike. This route offers a unique glimpse of northern Vietnam’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, making it a great adventure for motorbike enthusiasts. You will not only get experience on motorbike riding but also see the stunning mountains, authentic local ethnic culture in Ha Giang, and the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam- Ban Gioc waterfall.
DAY 1: HA GIANG TO DONG VAN TOWN
Starting at 8: 30 am from your hotel, we will ride on the most beautiful breathtaking mountain passes around 30 km to Bac Sum pass, you’ll immediately be greeted by dramatic karst mountains and lush green valleys. The roads twist and turn, offering breathtaking views at every corner. Check in the Heaven’s Gate for a short walk to the top to see a beautiful view and the town in the valley, which town surrounded by jutting and forested hills. It is a great experience to discover the diversity of ethnic culture by visiting the H’Mong village which will be told by our experienced tour guide. Having lunch in the middle of the beautiful Yen Minh village.
Continuous along the mountain road and stop at Twin Mountain and Can Ty Mountain for great scenery. Visit Tham Ma Hill, which is a highlight of the Ha Giang Loop, it offers stunning views, thrilling rides, and a spectacular panorama of hills, it is a great idea spot for some cooling pictures. At the next stop, we will visit the Vuong’s King palace - The old King of H'mong people in Sa Phin village.
As we approach Dong Van, we’ll enter Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark. This area is famous for its unique geological formations, rich biodiversity, and cultural heritage. Explore the fascinating rock formations and the distinct landscapes that make this area special. Arrive at Dong Van around 4 pm.

DAY 2: DONG VAN TO MEO VAC
The journey today from Dong Van to Meo Vac Village is a remarkable motorbike ride that showcases the stunning landscapes and cultural richness of northern Vietnam. After breakfast, we will visit the Dong Van Market if we're here on a Sunday, we will have a chance to see the way of life of the ethnic people who sell full of local goods such as H’mong, Dao, and Tay. After breakfast, we will ride along the most beautiful mountain pass around 30 km to visit Lung Cu village, and climb to 30 30-meter tall monuments on Lung Cu Peak topped with a large Vietnamese flag & panoramic views. Take another ride through the Lo Lo village and stop at the border between Vietnam and China where you can see the two countries divided by the Nho Que river. We will return to Dong Van for lunch and continue to explore the Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the 4 biggest passes on the Truong Son range, and it is well known for its abrupt cliffs and breathtaking views. On the top peak, we will stop for you to take some pictures of the whole panorama of Ma Pi Leng, where you might feel overwhelmed by the majestic mountains and Nho Que River. Then continue our journey through thousands of conical limestone peaks as well as deep and meandering valleys.

DAY 3: MEO VAC TO DU GIA
It is a great time if we come here at the weekend on Sunday morning when the ethnic people sell mostly cattle like goats pigs and cows, and items of clothing, this market is not just for selling goods but is also important for maintaining the social relations of the ethnic people such as Mong, Dao, and Tay. After that, we will ride back to the Nho Que River to take an hour-long beautiful boat trip around the most spectacular river view. Then we will drive through Meo Vac village to Du Da with some stops on the spectacular views for photos. Relax at the nice hotel and enjoy your time at the swimming pool.

DAY 4: DU GIA TO PAC BO
After breakfast, we will embark on our journey to Cao Bang province. This will be the longest day of our trip as we follow a road that runs alongside the China border. The landscapes along this route are quite remote and stunningly beautiful. The road itself also offers an impressive sight with its narrow asphalt lane full of twists, turns, and knots that constantly negotiate the challenging terrain.
During our ride, we will visit Me Pia, the only pass of its kind, which is breathtaking. To ascend this essentially vertical wall of rock, the road passes through 14 consecutive switchbacks, earning it the nickname 'Dragon's Stairway'. We will stop here for lunch and enjoy the most epic pass in Vietnam.
Our next destination is Pac Bo, a historically significant site located in a highly scenic location. This is where Uncle Ho (Ho Chi Minh) re-entered Vietnam in 1941 after being absent for 30 years and starting his struggle for an independent nation. We will spend the night at this location.

DAY 5: PAC BO TO BAN GIOC WATERFALL
The ride today from Pac Bo to the Ban Gioc waterfall is a scenic trip through the northernmost part of Vietnam, near the border with China. This route will take you through beautiful mountain landscapes, ethnic villages, and winding roads, showcasing the stunning natural beauty of Vietnam's northern highlands.
This road is well-paved and passes through hilly terrain with many scenic views and passes through Cao Bang City around noon time, it’s a great place to stop, fuel up, grab food, and take a short rest. Cao Bang city itself is surrounded by limestone mountains, unique and charming. After lunch, we will continue onto the breathtaking mountain road which will lead you directly towards Ban Gioc Waterfall. This section of the ride takes you through rural areas with stunning views of terraced rice fields, lush valleys, and karst mountains. You will also ride through several small villages, where you can experience the culture of the local ethnic groups like the Tay, Nung, and H'Mong people. We will come to Trung Khanh district and approach Ban Gioc waterfall. Ban Gioc Waterfall the final of our destination for today is the majestic Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Southeast Asia and a natural border between Vietnam and China. We will park our motorbike nearby and explore the waterfall, we also take a boat ride to get closer to the fall. Enjoy our time in the waterfall and arrive at the homestay of the Tay people overnight. Relax and be ready to have some happy water, a special corn wine of the Tay people for dinner.

DAY 6: FINISH TRIP IN CAO BANG CITY OR GO TO HA NOI
To start your day, enjoy breakfast and coffee before continuing on your hike to Truc Lam Phat Tich pagoda. This pagoda was the first to be constructed at the Northern border position in Dam Thuy, Trung Khanh, Cao Bang. From this hillside pagoda and temple, you can enjoy great views of the Ban Gioc Waterfall and the entire karst valley.
After visiting the temple, we will take a short ride to visit the Nguom Ngao cave, Nguom Ngao means "Tiger Cave" in the Tay ethnic language, it is one of the most spectacular caves in Vietnam, and a must-visit attractions when visiting the Ban Gioc area. The astonishing cave with stalactites of various shapes is the most famous limestone grotto in the northern mountains. You will be amazed by its beauty. We will have 2 hours to explore the cave, which a 2,144 meters long and 980 meters wide currently open to visitors. Inside, you’ll find stunning stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes and sizes, formed over thousands of years. The cave features multiple large chambers, narrow passageways, and underground streams. Continue our motorbike riding after the cave, we will again take a beautiful road toward Cao Bang City and finish our 6 days journey. We will drop you off at your hotel in Cao Bang city or at your bus station.
