A motorbike tour from South to North Vietnam via the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, Central Highlands, and both the western and eastern routes offers one of the country's most scenic and culturally immersive journeys. Covering nearly 4,500 kilometers of diverse landscapes, vibrant cultures, the experience of history, and unforgettable experiences. This adventure offers a mix of thrilling mountain roads, serene countryside views, and opportunities to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam. 

DAY 1: SAI GON→ DONG XOAI: 150KM

Leave the busy HCMC for Dong Xoai in the morning, the highlight of this last day is the Cu Chi tunnel, a historic area that shows how the North Vietnamese army was against the American and South Vietnamese armies during the Vietnam War. The tunnel located in the Cu Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City, is a vast underground network used by Viet Cong soldiers ( North Vietnam Comunism - VC) during the Vietnam War. Stretching over 250 kilometers, the tunnels played a crucial role as a hiding spot, supply route, and communication channel. The tunnel also contained living quarters, kitchens, storage rooms, and even hospitals, making them a self-sustained underground community. It was designed with multiple levels and narrow passages to prevent enemy penetration, and it had air vents camouflaged to resemble termite mounds for ventilation. The Viet Cong soldiers could emerge, attack, and disappear back into the tunnels, evading detection, some sections were even booby-trapped for added defense.

After visiting the Cu Chi Tunnel, we will return to our bike and ride to the countryside road for lunch. Starting on the Ho Chi Minh road which is the beginning road in the south to the Central Highland Way, we will stop at the historical site to visit, the broken bridge which was used for killing people during the French and American war and our guide will explain to you the history of this area. Relax on the hammock for a cup of coffee before getting back on our bike to Dong Xoai town.

Then keep going to Dong Xoai around 4:00 pm.

DAY 2:  DONG XOAI→ DAKMIL:  180KM 

Leaving Dong Xoai, we will visit the martyrs' cemetery Cemetery where you can walk around and understand more about our war history b our tour guide and stop at the cashew plantation and factory which is the biggest cashew-growing region and exporting in the world, you can see how the workers make the cashew products for exporting and they welcome you to try its taste. After the factory we will visit another farm - a rubber plantation, where we will tell you about the tapping and processing of the rubber resin which requires skill to avoid damaging the trees and is often done in the early morning when the temperatures are cooler, maximizing latex flow. The sight of a rubber plantation is particularly beautiful in autumn when the leaves turn yellow before falling, leaving the trees bare for a short period, which creates a tranquil, almost surreal landscape.

Keep riding on a stunning mountain road along the border belt between Vietnam and Cambodia, we will tell you more about the civil war of Vietnam between northern and southern Vietnam before 1975 and also the history of the trail when was it built and what was the purpose of the trail. Take a walk to the H'mong village and ride to our hotel at 5 pm.

DAY 3: DAK MIL → BAO LOC: 120KM

Leaving Dakmil after breakfast, ready for a day-long to Bao Loc town on Ho Chi Minh Road, we will stop to visit a cocoa plantation which is a special area to plant these trees, and hear about how to make chocolate from our tour guide.  Rolling on Ho Chi Minh Road and a part of Ho Chi Minh Trail, our guide will tell you more about the civil war of Vietnam between northern and southern Vietnam before 1975. And also the history of the trail when was it built and what was the purpose of the trail.

Enjoy the breathtaking mountain views along the way on the motorbike. We will stop to see the most beautiful lake island - Ta Dung Lake, which is called the 2nd Halong Bay in the central highlands. Continue our journey to visit the cashew plantation and factory, which is the biggest cashew-growing region and exporting region in the world. DAY 4: BAO LOC → DALAT: 150 KM

After breakfast and a cup of coffee, we are going to visit the most beautiful waterfall in Bao Loc - Dambri Waterfall where you can do the longest roller coaster in Vietnam down to the waterfall to visit, spend, and relax here for a couple of hours. Riding on the stunning mountain pass, the most breathtaking pass in the south of Vietnam, and stopping to visit the pepper farm, you can try the fresh taste if in the season. The next place we will visit is another waterfall that is the Pongour waterfall, known for its majestic multi-tiered cascade, the waterfall drops over seven levels of rocky terraces, stretching around 100 meters wide with a height of approximately 40 meters. Surrounded by lush greenery and untouched forest, it offers a breathtaking view and is especially beautiful in the rainy season (from September to November) when the water flow is strongest. We will have lunch after the waterfall and we will visit the K'ho ethnic village, known as the chicken village, here our guide will tell you why it had a famous name of the chicken village and also tell you about the legend story about the marriage and culture of the K'ho people. We also visit the mushroom farm (seasonal) and before coming to Dalat, we will visit the second biggest Zen monastery in Vietnam and go to our homestay in Dalat.

DAY 5: DALAT →  LAK LAKE: 160 KM 

Ready at your hotel at 8:30 am for the motorbike trip on the first day, we will head to the breathtaking countryside road of Dalat to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and stop at the follower village where we can see the farmers working on their colorful flower-like daisy, rose, lily and gerbera, in the morning is the busiest time that the farmers have to choose the best the flowers to arrange it in the boxes and ready for export to the local markets and Ho Chi Minh city. Back to the motorbike after visiting the beautiful flower farm, we will take the most stunning mountain pass of Dalat to Me Linh town where we will visit the coffee plantation, before trying the cup of coffee, our tour guide will explain to you how is the coffee tree's growth in Vietnam and how is the different taste of different coffee like RobustaMokaArabica and a special coffee is produced from the special animal - Weasel.

After visiting this coffee farm and enjoying the coffee, continue our journey to a local family where you can try the taste of the strongest traditional homemade rice wine ( happy water ), and you will also understand how is the process of making rice wine through our tour guide. The next destination we will visit to the silk worm factory, the must-see place on our first day, here you will see and understand how the workers make silk products from the cocoons. After that, we will visit the Elephant Waterfall, which is the most beautiful waterfall in this area. Close to the fall is the Buddhist Temple, a huge Happy Buddha statue, and the highest Lady Buddha statue ( 71 meters high) in the south where you will enjoy your time and get a deeper understanding of Buddhism through our guides. Stop for lunch in the middle of the mountain road.

Relax and continue our motorbike trip through the stunning mountain roads and stop to visit the flooding village, people who live in these floating houses are moved from the Mekong Delta river to here for fishing and have created a small village on the river. Keep going an hour more on the winding motorbike through the villages and rice fields before getting to our hotel in Lak Lake. Finish our first day of motorbike trip at 5 pm.

DAY 6: LAK LAKE → BUON MA THUOT: 120 KM

Wake up early 6 am for the dug-out canoe trip, this trip offers a serene and authentic experience of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Lak Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in the region, is surrounded by lush forests, rolling hills, and traditional M’nong ethnic villages, creating a peaceful, scenic backdrop.

On this journey, you’ll board a wooden dugout canoe, handcrafted by locals, and gently paddle across the tranquil, glassy waters of the lake. As you drift along, you’ll see local fishermen, herds of water buffalo, and diverse bird species, offering a glimpse into the daily life and natural beauty of the area. The ride also often brings views of the remote M’nong villages along the lakeshore, where traditional stilt houses dot the landscape, preserving ancient customs.

Before Leaving the wildlife of Lak Lake to Buon Ma Thuot City (BMT city), we will walk around the village to see many houses made from bamboo and wood, elevated to protect against floods and provide ventilation in the warm climate. The M’nong people have lived here for generations, maintaining their unique customs, stilt houses, and traditional crafts. You can see the M’nong way of life, from farming and fishing to weaving and other traditional crafts. If we come to the festival, we will see M'nong people play folk music, dances, and celebrations, often performed with the beating of gongs.

Goodbye to an authentic village, again our second day on the motorbike journey we will visit Draysap waterfall, the most beautiful and massive waterfall in Dak Lak region for relaxing and swimming. Before coming here, we will have the option to go to the local market to buy fresh chicken and baguettes for a picnic lunch in the national park or have lunch in the local restaurant. After swimming, we will walk about half an hour through the national park to see another beautiful waterfall. Continue our Easy Rider trip to BMT city, we will take a ride through the rice field roads and village roads and stop at the mushroom farm ( seasonal), incense making and cocoa plantation then hit the capital city of the central highland.

DAY 7: BMT CITY → CHUSE: 160 KM

Before moving out of Coffee’s capital to Chuse, we will visit the Dak Lak Cultural and Historical Museum (which closes on Monday) -The museum is known for its striking architecture inspired by traditional longhouses, it offers a deep insight into the diverse cultures, history, and natural landscape of this region. Two main sections of this museum will be explained by our guide to let you understand more about ethnology and history. The ethnology section highlights the lifestyles and traditions of the local ethnic groups, particularly the EdeJa Rai, and M’nong, through displays of traditional costumes, musical instruments, tools, and artifacts, and the history section covers the region's history from ancient times to the modern era, including exhibits on the resistance against colonialism and the Vietnam War.

Continue our Easy Rider trip, we will take a ride through the rice field roads, and village roads and stop at the pepper plantation where you can try the hot- fresh taste of the plant, and also the rubber plantation - the biggest tree product in the central highland as well as Vietnam. Take a rest on the hammock for a cup of coffee and ride through Ho Chi Minh Road to the local restaurant for lunch in the middle of the day.

After lunch, take a short walk to the local market and ride our motorbike to Phu Cuong waterfall, the most beautiful waterfall in this area. Keep going to Chuse around 4 pm

DAY 8: CHUSE → KONTUM: 120 KM

Starting our fourth-day trip, we will ride again on the Ho Chi Minh trail and visit the Sea Lake “The Eyes of Pleiku”, it is a nice local destination for the locals who want to enjoy the serene landscape, cool climate, and scenic views. The next area on our journey that the tea farm, this tea farm offers not only a chance to explore the cultivation process but also the beauty of the surrounding scenery. It is also the oldest tea plantation that French people grew in the central highland during the French period, walking in the tea farm and enjoying a cup of coffee in this area. Next to the tea farm, there is also the oldest Buddhist temple with a unique lying Buddha statue where we have time to come and visit.

Going to Kontum after this authentic area for lunch. Kontum is a small and peaceful land by the Dkbla River, it is a virgin land with pristine nature and intact hill-tribe cultures such as BahnarJ’rai, and Sedan. The town also still retains vestiges of ancient cathedral architecture such as the wooden church. We will check in at our hotel after lunch around 2 pm and take a couple of hours to visit the Kon K'tu ethnic village and walk around to see the special Rong house, beautiful river, and local life, then go back to the hotel.

DAY 9: KONTUM → KHAM DUC: 180 KM

Before leaving the land of the Bana people we will visit the Wooden Church, the church was built in 1913 and serves as a testament to the history of Catholicism in the Central Highlands and the efforts of French missionaries who established Christianity in the area. The church is distinguished by its traditional wooden construction, using local materials. It exhibits a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles, featuring intricate carvings and design elements that reflect both Christian and indigenous cultural influences. The church is not only a place of worship but also a cultural center for the local community. It hosts various religious events, festivals, and gatherings.

Riding an hour more we will come to Ngoc Hoi town which was the biggest battlefield during the Vietnam War, we will stop at the war monument where you can see the VC (Vietnam Communist) tanks, that were used to fight against the Americans and Southern soldiers during the war. Continue on the Ho Chi Minh road, we also visit Charlie Hill and Phoenix Airport, Charlie Hill and Phoenix Airport were the site of intense fighting during the Vietnam War, specifically during the Battle of Charlie Hill in 1967, it was a crucial point for both American and North Vietnamese forces. The hill provided a vantage point for military operations, and its control was vital for the surrounding areas. The battles fought here highlight the strategic military maneuvers of the time. Visiting Charlie Hill offers a chance for us to learn about the war's impact on the local landscape and its people. It's an opportunity for reflection on historical events and their significance.  

We will have lunch at the Indochina T-junction which is the border between Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Keep going on the stunning mountain of the Truong Son range, we will visit the local stream where we will have time to enjoy swimming and immerse ourselves in the jungle. We will arrive at Phuoc Son town and check in at our hotel around 5 pm.

DAY 10: KHAM DUC → HOI AN: 140 KM

On the 10-day trip, we will enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes and rivers along Phuoc Son Pass, the road is very smooth through the villages and waterfalls. We will visit the last village on our trip which is Chu Ru village and go to another marvelous waterfall that is deep in the jungle, you can swim here as well. After enjoying our time at the waterfall, we will get back on the breathtaking road and stop at the pineapple farm to try some fresh pineapple and coffee. Finish our central highland riding, we will go down to the main road for Hoian and visit The Cham Temple- which is an ancient Hindu temple, built by the Cham People who were a part of the Kingdom of Champa, this kingdom thrived along Vietnam's central coast from the 2nd century to around the 19th century, this temple is culturally and architecturally significant, as they showcase a blend of local and Indian-influenced styles. Then, go to visit The Cao Dai temple, a Vietnamese religion, and incense making. Arrive at Hoi An around 5:00 pm.

DAY 11: HOI AN → HUE: 150 KM

Hoian to Hue via Hai Van pass will show you one of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam, which every traveler must do when they travel in this amazing area. We want to make sure that you will enjoy the best stunning view of mountains, beaches, waterfalls, and lagoon and know more about the cultures of Vietnam as well.

In the morning, we will ride a long ocean way to visit Marble Mountain and explore caves, pagodas, and sculptures made by hand from passion stone.

Then we take you along My Khe beach, where not only voted as one of the most beautiful coastlines in Vietnam but is also very famous as a military base of both the French and American armies when they started to fight here.

We will travel through Hai Van Pass which means “Sea of Cloudy Pass”, where you will be surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views, we can admire the beautiful panorama, and enjoy a number of the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam. After lunch, we will continue to Dream Waterfall where you can relax and swim. Then we ride along Highway 1 A to visit the Tam Giang lagoon, where you will see a local fishing village and trek around the lagoon. Here you’ll get to meet locals and see how they live and work before arriving in Hue.

DAY 12: HUE TO KHE SANH: 230 KM

Leaving the old Hue capital for Khe Sanh, we will take a most beautiful coastline along the Tam Giang lagoon - it stands as a well-known network of lagoons, notably claiming the title of Southeast Asia's largest brackish water lagoon, covering about 52 square kilometers. Positioned approximately 30 kilometers away from Hue's city center, this charming Vietnamese lagoon is increasingly favored by visitors for its pristine, peaceful, and romantic ambiance. Keep going on the beautiful way we will ride to the Hien Luong Bridge- a 17th parallel, it was bisected by the border between South Vietnam and North Vietnam during the Vietnam War from 1954 to 1975, It is not just history only but also it is a nice scenery area which you can take photos while walking on the bridge with our guide and we will tell you more about the history of this area.

The day with a beautiful coastline, mountain road, and full of historical places that we hope you will enjoy your time with us. After the Hien Luong bridge, we will ride a bit more on the coast and visit the Vinh Moc Tunnel a historically significant site located near the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) in Quang Tri Province. This tunnel was built by the North Vietnamese to shelter villagers from intense bombing by American forces during the Vietnam War. The complex system of tunnels, dug by hand, served as an underground village with living quarters, a clinic, kitchens, and even a school, allowing people to survive underground for years. We will have an hour to visit the tunnel and back to the motorbike again for the mountain way. Finish the cost line from the Vinh Moc tunnel, we will turn to the west of the Truong Son range where you will feel more nature windy from the green jungle. We stop for lunch in the small village, take a rest, and continue our journey to the Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery which is the largest war cemetery in Vietnam, located in Quang Tri Province. It serves as a resting place and memorial for the thousands of North Vietnamese soldiers who died along the Truong Son Road (also known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail) during the Vietnam War. This cemetery is a significant site for both historical and emotional reflection, commemorating the sacrifices made during the war.

Before coming to our hotel for a long day ride, we will visit the last historical area which is called the Rock Pile which was critical during the Vietnam War as a strategic observation post. It was inaccessible by foot, so the U.S. military relied on helicopters to deliver troops, supplies, and equipment to the top. From here, U.S. Marines and Army personnel used radio and artillery to monitor and attack NVA supply lines and troop movements along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Going to our hotel in Khe Sanh around 5 pm.

DAY 13: KHE SANH TO PHONG NHA: 187 KM

Start the trip at 8: 30 am, we will pack our luggage and roll on the Ho Chi Minh Road again, the first stop for today, we will visit the Khe Sanh combat base (Ta Con Military Airport), This former U.S. Marine base is an essential historical site, where one of the largest battles of the Vietnam War took place. You’ll find an on-site museum with aircraft, tanks, and photos from the era.

The ride will take us through an old-growth jungle, with stunning waterfalls and beautiful landscapes. We will visit Van Kieu’s ethnic village to observe how these people survive in one of the most remote places in Vietnam.

We will have lunch at another village and continue to ride through the jungle and take a stop at the top of mountain ranges to see marvelous valleys.

The journey will take us along the banks of the Son River, through rice paddies, farmland, and past local farmers. Along the way, you will learn about the background of the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park and the West Ho Chi Minh trail, a remote and less-traveled area.

We will arrive at a lovely Phong Nha town at 5 pm.

DAY 14: EXPLORING PHONG NHA CAVES AND NATIONAL PARK

Today we will have a whole day to explore the caves, enjoy nature, and see the beautiful sunset at the rice field in Phong Nha National Park without riding a lot of kilometers.

With a day free to explore Phong Nha National Park, we will have a few hours in the dark cave for some activities. Dark Cave is a branch of the Phong Nha cave system with 5,558m long and 80m high, the entry of the cave is 30m high and 10m wide with heavy forest around the cave mouth. Dark Cave was discovered in the years of anti-America resistance war by local people and used as a bomb shelter, it is a must-visit place when we come to Phong Nha. Unlike other caves that are artificially lit, this cave is mostly dark, the Dark Cave entrance is hidden beneath lush foliage. Thus, it is only accessible via a steep, rocky path that meanders through the forest.

To see the way, we need to use headlamps or torches while exploring Dark Cave. You can see the vast chambers and tunnels illuminated only by the faint glow of their headlamps. The cave is also located on the site of the river called Chay River, which originates from deep inside the mountains. The area is surrounded by spectacular limestone mountains and verdant forests, providing a refreshing and tranquil ambiance. Most activities that you are going to do today are kayaking going through the caves then immersing yourself in the mud bath and taking a walk to explore the cave. Zipline is also on our part our a trip which you can join a bit adventurous and take time to swim at the beautiful river.

After all these morning activities we will take lunch on the way to another caves. In the afternoon we will take another trip to the magnificent Paradise limestone cave, the second-longest wet limestone cave in the world, and then trek through this amazing old-growth rainforest, you can choose to take an electric car or walk around 3 km to the cave and explore it.

After finishing our cave trips, we will ride a few kilometers through the Phong Nha National Park and enjoy the green nature in this marvelous park. On the way back our guide will stop at the time of sunset to relax and take some pictures here then we will ride back to our hotel.

DAY 15: PHONG NHA TO TAN KY: 280 KM

Today is the longest day of our journey, it takes a 280 km long distance to Tan Ky but the route offers a peaceful journey through the scenic Vietnamese countryside, with chances to connect with local culture and history along the way.

Depart in the early morning to enjoy our cool climate on the motorbike through the jungle, we will pass some villages of the hill tribe groups and stop at the Thai Village to explore the culture and walk around the village. Enjoy the ride on the smooth road, stop to relax for a cup of coffee, and continue the beautiful long mountain road to our hotel.

DAY 16: TAN KY TO MAI CHAU: 260 KM 

Another day long with 260 km to Mai Chau, this route offers a beautiful landscape, a cultural experience, and a taste of rural Vietnam.

By the following day, we will leave Tan Ky early in the morning and head to Mai Chau. We will ride through the bamboo groves along the Ma River, it is a breathtaking road for us to enjoy nature.

We will have lunch at Cam Thuy town and continue our ride to Mai Chau, where the renowned Ho Chi Minh Trail's KM 0 began, during the war, Milestone 0 km was the beginning of the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail, this was a meeting place for food supplies and weaponry for the Vietnam War soldiers fighting in the South. We will ride again on the smooth road to Mai Chau and spend the night here.

DAY 17: MAI CHAU TO TA XUA: 170 KM

When the sunrise goes over Mai Chau, we’ll set off on our motorbike, and head towards Ta Xua, a destination known for its dramatic landscapes and cloud formations. The ride today is one of contrasts, as you leave the peaceful valley of Mai Chau and climb into the rugged mountains.

The road to Ta Xua winds through remote villages and terraced fields, with each turn offering new views of the majestic landscape. Along the way, you’ll pass through Moc Chau, a region famous for its tea plantations and dairy farms in the north of Vietnam. This area is often shrouded in mist, adding an ethereal quality to the ride.

When reaching Ta Xua, we’ll be greeted by a small, quiet town perched on the edge of the mountains. Ta Xua is less known than other destinations, which means you’ll likely have stunning views all to yourself. Check in our hotel and if we have time we will take a trek to the Dinosaur Spine, a narrow ridge that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. This is one of the best spots to witness the “ocean of clouds” phenomenon, where a sea of clouds stretches out below you, creating a dreamlike landscape. Afterward, returning to our hotel to rest and ready for the dinner.

DAY 18: TA XUA TO MU CANG CHAI: 170 KM

Leaving Ta Xua in the morning after breakfast, we’ll continue our journey through the northern highlands of Vietnam. The ride today is one of the highlights of our trip, taking you through some of the most spectacular scenery the region has to offer. The road winds its way through the mountains, passing through the town of Tu Le, known for its terraced rice fields that cascade down the hillsides.

While riding through Tu Le, take your time to stop and admire the view, especially if you visit here during the harvest season when the fields turn golden. Continue riding to Mu Cang Chai, another famous area for its terraced fields. These terraces are a UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage site. The fields stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a mesmerizing pattern of green and gold across the landscape.

After exploring Mu Cang Chai, continuing our journey to Ngoc Chien, a small village nestled in a remote valley. Ngoc Chien is known for its natural hot springs, which are the perfect way to relax after a long day of riding. The village is also home to the Thai and H’Mong ethnic groups, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn about their traditional way of life. Arrive at our homestay around 4 pm.

DAY 19: MU CANG CHAI TO SAPA: 160 KM

The road from Mu Cang Chai to Sapa takes us deeper into the northern mountain ranges, where the air is cooler and the scenery even more dramatic. The road today is a mix of paved highways and rugged mountain tracks, making for an exhilarating ride. We’ll pass through several small villages, where we can stop to interact with the local people and learn about their daily lives.

When we reach Sapa, the landscape becomes even more stunning, with towering peaks and deep valleys. Sapa itself is a bustling town that sits high in the mountains, offering spectacular views of the surrounding region. The town is a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists, drawn by its cool climate and the chance to explore the nearby ethnic minority villages.

We will take a stunning mountain road passing the villages of the Black H’Mong and Dao people. These villages are famous for their traditional handicrafts, especially their intricate embroidery and textiles. Walking around and exploring the villages, we will return to Sapa and check in at our homestay. Sapa offers a range of dining options, from traditional Vietnamese food to international cuisine, making it the perfect place to relax after a day on the road.

DAY 20: SAPA TO HA GIANG: 220 KM

After breakfast, we will ride to the beautiful mountain loops and take a short break visit to the China and Vietnam border. After a short break in Lao Cai to see the China border, we will have a very beautiful motorbike ride to Ha Giang. This motorbike rides the mountain from 1,500 meters above sea level to Ha Giang around 800 meters to 1,200 meters, the road offers a great view of mountains with terrace fields and it must be one of the best motorbike rides in North Vietnam.

We will have a smooth motorbike ride along the smooth road about 40 kilometers, and then we will take a turn to a small road to Pho Rang - the road is small and somewhere bumpy but the scenery is completely different from what you saw in days before. The scenery is a wonderful mixture of green mountains, rice fields, and graceful villages of the ethnic people. You will have lunch in Pho Rang and after that, you will have an easy Vietnam motorbike tour to Ha Giang on the winding road with a different view from what you’ve seen.

DAY 21: HA GIANG TO DONG VAN: 150 KM

Riding on the most beautiful breathtaking mountain pass to Bac Sum pass. Check in the Heaven’s Gate Pass then we’ll arrive in Tam Sơn - Quan Ba, a town surrounded by jutting, forested hills. It is a great experience to discover the diversity of ethnic culture by visiting the H’Mong village which will be told by our experienced tour guide. Having lunch in the middle of the beautiful Yen Minh village.

Continuous along the mountain road and stop at Twin Mountain and Can Ty Mountain for great scenery. Visit Tham Ma Hill and Vuong’s family house in Sa Phin.

The motorbike rides in the afternoon winds along the Rock Plateau and some beautiful mountain passes to Ha Giang. We will arrive at Ha Giang Town at 5:00 pm.

DAY 22: DONG VAN TO BAO LAC: 140 KM

After breakfast, we leave Dong Van town to Explore the Ma Pi Leng pass, one of the 4 biggest passes on Truong Son rage, and it is well known for its abrupt cliffs and breathtaking views. On the top peak, we will stop for you to take some pictures of the whole panorama of Ma Pi Leng, where you might feel overwhelmed by the majestic mountains and rivers. Then continue our journey through thousands of conical limestone peaks as well as deep and meandering valleys. Enjoy our time here and come to  Meo Vac for lunch. Continue our riding in Ha Giang loops and ride slowly along the Gam River to enjoy the green mountains to Bao Lac. Stay overnight will be in Bao Lac town.

DAY 23:  BAO LAC TO BAN GIOC WATERFALL: 200 KM

Enjoy more riding through the mountains and stop to rest at some of the breathtaking mountains and visit the Black Lo Lo ethnic group, women here still wear their traditional black dresses put over their heads, with large sleeves made of bands of cloth in different colors, and a long, full black skirt, tight at the waist and the knee.

Keep going on the road lined with beautiful trees and scenic mountain views to join the small heading up down to Cao Bang town a little town in the mountainous region of northeastern Vietnam.

We arrive at our homestay in Tay’s village, check in a homestay, and back on the bike for a short ride to visit Nguom Ngao Cave, a must-visit attraction when in the Ban Gioc area. The astonishing cave with stalactites of various shapes is the most famous limestone grotto in the northern mountains. You will be amazed by its beauty. Returning to our homestay to relax and ready for dinner at our homestay.

DAY 24: BAN GIOC WATERFALL TO BA BE LAKE: 206 KM

Leaving early for a long nice day ride, we will visit Ban Gioc waterfall - One of Vietnam's natural wonders. This enchanting fall unveils a breathtaking spectacle as pristine waters cascade from tier to tier, harmonizing with the lush landscapes. Take a hike to Truc Lam Phat Tich pagoda, this pagoda was the first to be constructed at the Northern border position in Dam Thuy, Trung Khanh, Cao Bang. You can enjoy great views of the Ban Gioc Waterfall and the entire karst valley from this hillside pagoda and temple.

Continue our motorbike journey, we will stop at the stunning mountain views and rice paddy fields and visit the Phuc Sen village where local people make their traditional knives or some tools for working on the farm. Take a long nice ride with a few stops on the way to Ba Be village, a village of the Tay ethnic group. Check-in at our homestay Tay’s Village. If we are on time, we will take an hour boat ride on Ba Be Lake, if it is too late we will keep it for the next morning.

Ba Be Lake is known as one of the largest natural lakes in Vietnam. Ba Be Lake known as Hồ Ba Bể in Vietnamese, Ba means “three”, Bể means Pé which in Tay's language is “lake” is the largest natural lake in Vietnam. Having been formed approximately 200 million years ago, the lake is surrounded by limestone cliffs which in turn are covered by primary forests. The three rivers - Nang, Ta Han, and Nam Cung are the main inflows of the lake. Ba Be Lake is a featured geographical science and is a biodiversity reservoir. It is a part of the Ba Be National Park.

DAY 25: BA BE LAKE TO HA NOI: 240 KM

Today is the last day of our 25-day motorbike journey, we will have a long ride to Ha Noi, head towards the Red River Delta, passing through areas inhabited by Hmong, Dao, Tay, and Nung minority peoples, a mixture of both challenging tracks and the glorious sealed road to Hanoi, and go down the busy highway. We will reach Ha Noi around 4 pm and finish our memorial journey together.
