TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: DA NANG TO HUE: 130 KM

Ride the Legendary Hai Van Pass & Discover Central Vietnam's Hidden Gems

Today marks the beginning of an unforgettable Easy Rider motorbike adventure through some of Vietnam's most spectacular coastal and mountain landscapes. Leaving Da Nang in the morning, we first visit the famous Marble Mountains, a fascinating complex of limestone hills featuring ancient caves, Buddhist shrines, and panoramic viewpoints. We then continue to Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the impressive 67-meter Lady Buddha statue overlooking Da Nang Bay and the East Sea.

The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the legendary Hai Van Pass, widely regarded as one of the most scenic coastal roads in Southeast Asia. Known as the "Pass of Ocean Clouds," this winding mountain road offers breathtaking views where lush mountains meet the turquoise sea. At the summit, we stop to explore historic French bunkers and learn about the strategic importance of this mountain pass during both the colonial era and the Vietnam War.

After descending toward Lang Co Beach, we enjoy lunch by the coast before visiting the hidden Dream Waterfall (Suoi Mo). Surrounded by lush forest and crystal-clear streams, this peaceful natural retreat is the perfect place to relax, swim, and enjoy the beauty of Central Vietnam's countryside.

In the afternoon, we continue our motorcycle journey to Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia. Here, we visit a traditional fishing village to gain insight into the daily lives of local fishermen and the unique culture that has thrived along these waters for generations.

Arriving in Hue in the late afternoon, we check into our hotel and prepare for the next stage of our Vietnam motorbike adventure.

DAY 2: EXPLORING THE IMPERIAL CITY OF HUE

Royal Heritage, Ancient Tombs & a Perfume River Cruise

Today is a more relaxed day dedicated to discovering the rich history, culture, and imperial legacy of Hue, Vietnam's former royal capital and one of the country's most fascinating historical destinations.

After breakfast, we begin our exploration of the Imperial City, the heart of the former Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945) and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by ancient walls and moats, this remarkable complex features grand palaces, temples, royal courtyards, and ornate gates that offer a fascinating glimpse into the lives of Vietnam's last emperors.

We then ride to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's most famous religious landmark. Overlooking the tranquil Perfume River, this elegant seven-story pagoda has become a symbol of the city and offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by gardens, temples, and centuries of history.

Continuing our journey through Hue's countryside, we visit two of the most impressive royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty. The Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh showcases a unique blend of Vietnamese and European architecture, while the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc reflects harmony between nature, poetry, and royal design. Together, these magnificent sites reveal the grandeur and cultural sophistication of Vietnam's imperial past.

In the late afternoon, we return to the city before boarding a traditional dragon boat for a relaxing cruise along the Perfume River. As the sun begins to set, enjoy the peaceful scenery and the timeless beauty of Hue from the water. During the cruise, you'll experience a traditional Ca Hue performance, a unique form of royal folk music that originated in the imperial court and remains one of Hue's most treasured cultural traditions.

After the river cruise, enjoy free time to explore Hue's lively night market, stroll along the riverside promenade, and sample the city's renowned local cuisine.

DAY 3: HUE TO PHONG NHA NATIONAL PARK: 210 KM

Vietnam War History & the Legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail

Today's motorbike adventure takes us from the imperial city of Hue into the heart of central Vietnam, combining dramatic war history, rural landscapes, and one of the country's most iconic riding routes.

Leaving Hue in the morning, we ride north through peaceful countryside, traditional villages, and quiet backroads toward the former Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), one of the most historically significant regions in Vietnam.

Our first major stop is the historic Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, located on the 17th Parallel. For more than two decades, this river marked the dividing line between North and South Vietnam following the Geneva Accords of 1954. Standing on the bridge today offers a fascinating glimpse into one of the most important chapters of modern Vietnamese history.

Continuing north, we visit the remarkable Vinh Moc Tunnels, an underground village built by local residents to survive years of intense bombing during the Vietnam War. Unlike many wartime tunnels, Vinh Moc housed entire families, including schools, living quarters, medical facilities, and even maternity rooms, providing a powerful insight into the resilience of the Vietnamese people.

In the afternoon, our motorcycle journey follows sections of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, one of the most famous roads in Vietnam. Winding through forests, mountains, and remote countryside, this scenic route offers some of the most enjoyable riding of the entire tour and showcases the natural beauty of central Vietnam.

By late afternoon, we arrive at the spectacular Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dramatic limestone mountains, underground rivers, and world-famous cave systems.

Accommodation: Hotel in Phong Nha

DAY 4: FULL DAY IN PHONG NHA TO EXPLORE THE CAVES

Epic Caves, Jungle Adventures & Sunset Over the Rice Fields

Today is dedicated to discovering the natural wonders of Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, one of Vietnam's most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites. With minimal riding, you'll have plenty of time to explore breathtaking caves, lush rainforest, and the stunning landscapes that make this region world-famous.

The adventure begins at Dark Cave, one of the park's most exciting and interactive attractions. Hidden beneath dense jungle and surrounded by towering limestone mountains, Dark Cave offers a unique blend of adventure and nature. Equipped with a headlamp, you'll venture deep into the cave's vast chambers and tunnels, experiencing complete darkness much like the early explorers who first discovered this remarkable underground world.

Located along the beautiful Chay River, the area is also known for its outdoor activities. Enjoy kayaking on crystal-clear waters, fly across the river on a thrilling zipline, relax in the famous natural mud bath, and swim in the refreshing river surrounded by spectacular scenery.

After lunch, we continue to Paradise Cave, widely regarded as one of the most magnificent caves in Asia. Stretching deep beneath the limestone mountains, this incredible cave features enormous chambers, impressive stalactites, and breathtaking rock formations that have been shaped over millions of years. A scenic walk through the forest leads to the cave entrance, or you may choose to take an electric buggy for part of the journey.

In the late afternoon, we enjoy a relaxing ride through the peaceful countryside and lush landscapes of Phong Nha National Park. As the day comes to an end, we stop at one of the region's picturesque rice fields to watch the sunset, providing the perfect opportunity for photography and a memorable conclusion to an extraordinary day.

DAY 5: PHONG NHA TO KHE SANH: 187 KM

The Legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail & Remote Mountain Villages

Today's ride is one of the most scenic and rewarding sections of the tour, following the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail through remote mountains, dense jungle, ethnic minority communities, and some of Central Vietnam's most spectacular landscapes.

Leaving Phong Nha in the morning, we ride through breathtaking countryside surrounded by towering limestone mountains, lush forests, and peaceful rural villages. This section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail offers some of the best motorcycle roads in Vietnam, with winding curves, light traffic, and incredible scenery stretching in every direction.

Along the route, we pass through beautiful valleys, riverside farmland, and untouched jungle landscapes before visiting a traditional Van Kieu ethnic minority village. Here, you'll gain insight into the daily life, culture, and traditions of one of Vietnam's indigenous communities, many of whom continue to live in remote mountain regions largely unchanged by modern development.

As we continue deeper into the countryside, the road follows sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail, the famous wartime supply route that once connected North and South Vietnam. Your guide will share stories about the trail's strategic importance and the remarkable history that shaped this region.

Throughout the day, there are plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs, enjoy panoramic mountain views, and appreciate the untouched beauty of Vietnam's central highlands. The combination of winding mountain roads, dense rainforest, ethnic villages, and historical significance makes this one of the most memorable riding days of the entire journey.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Khe Sanh, a town forever linked to one of the most significant chapters of the Vietnam War and surrounded by stunning mountain scenery.

DAY 6: KHE SANH TO PRAO VIA A LUOI: 200 KM

Remote Ho Chi Minh Trail, Ethnic Cultures & Spectacular Mountain Passes

Today is a true adventure through the heart of the Truong Son Mountains, following one of the most remote and scenic sections of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail. Expect breathtaking mountain landscapes, ethnic minority communities, and some of the best riding roads in Central Vietnam.

Leaving Khe Sanh in the morning, we ride through quiet mountain valleys and dense jungle landscapes toward the remote regions of Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue. Along the way, we visit villages inhabited by the Pa Co and Co Tu ethnic minorities, offering a fascinating opportunity to learn about their traditional lifestyles, customs, and unique cultural heritage.

Continuing deeper into the mountains, the road climbs through one of the most spectacular sections of the Truong Son Range. This unforgettable ride features endless winding roads, panoramic viewpoints, lush rainforest, and the peaceful atmosphere that makes the Ho Chi Minh Trail a favorite among motorcycle enthusiasts.

Along the route, we stop at the historic Dakrong Bridge, an important landmark on the Ho Chi Minh Trail and a symbol of the region's wartime history. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and jungle scenery, it is one of the most photogenic locations of the day.

As we continue toward A Luoi, your guide will share stories about the strategic importance of the region during the Vietnam War, including the history of the former Ta Con Military Airport (Khe Sanh Combat Base), one of the most significant military sites in central Vietnam.

The afternoon ride to Prao is a true highlight, following remote mountain roads through untouched landscapes, traditional villages, and endless stretches of forested mountains. This is Vietnam at its most authentic—far from the crowds and rich in natural beauty.

Arriving in Prao in the late afternoon, we settle into our accommodation and enjoy a peaceful evening in the heart of the Central Highlands.
