TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY→  LONG HAI: 120 KM

From Saigon's Bustling Streets to the Coastal Charm of Long Hai

Your 10-day motorbike adventure from Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An begins as we leave Vietnam's largest and busiest city behind and head toward the beautiful southern coastline.

After meeting at your hotel at 8:30 AM, we set off through the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City before taking the Cat Lai Ferry across the Dong Nai River. This short ferry crossing offers a unique glimpse into local life and quickly transports us away from the city's urban energy into the peaceful countryside.

Our first cultural stop is the Cao Dai Temple, home to one of Vietnam's most fascinating indigenous religions. Founded in southern Vietnam in the 1920s, Cao Dai combines elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity, and other spiritual traditions, creating a unique belief system found nowhere else in the world.

Continuing through the countryside, we ride past vast rubber plantations that have played an important role in the region's history and economy for more than a century. The scenic roads provide an excellent introduction to rural southern Vietnam, with opportunities to stop for photos and learn about local agriculture.

We then visit a peaceful Zen Monastery, where traditional Vietnamese Buddhist architecture blends harmoniously with tranquil gardens and meditation spaces. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the monastery grounds and experience a quieter side of Vietnamese culture.

After lunch near Binh Chau, we continue toward the coast and visit the traditional salt fields of Long Hai. Here, local farmers harvest sea salt using methods that have been passed down through generations, creating striking landscapes of salt ponds that are particularly photogenic during the dry season.

By mid-afternoon, we arrive in the coastal town of Long Hai and check into our hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax on the beach, enjoy a swim in the sea, or simply unwind after the first day of riding.

DAY 2: LONG HAI→  MUI NE: 180 KM

 Vietnam's Most Scenic Coastal Ride to Mui Ne

Today is one of the longest riding days of the tour, but also one of the most rewarding. Following Vietnam's spectacular southern coastline, you'll experience dramatic ocean views, historic landmarks, fishing villages, and some of the country's most beautiful coastal roads.

After breakfast, we begin with a short ride to a stunning seaside viewpoint, where rugged rock formations meet the South China Sea, providing excellent photo opportunities and a perfect introduction to the day's coastal adventure.

Our next stop is Minh Dam Mountain, a historic wartime stronghold hidden among forests and rocky hills. During a short walk through the area, you'll discover former bunkers, caves, and shelters once used by resistance forces during the conflicts of the 20th century. Beyond its historical significance, the mountain also offers impressive views over the surrounding coastline.

Continuing along the coast, we ride toward Ke Ga Cape, home to Vietnam's oldest lighthouse. Standing proudly on a small offshore island, the historic Ke Ga Lighthouse has guided sailors since the French colonial era and remains one of the country's most iconic coastal landmarks. The surrounding scenery of rocky shores, fishing boats, and endless ocean views makes this one of the highlights of the day.

After lunch in Phan Thiet, we visit Van Thuy Tu Temple, an important cultural site dedicated to the Whale God, revered by generations of Vietnamese fishermen as a protector of those who work at sea. The temple preserves fascinating artifacts and traditions that reflect the deep connection between local communities and the ocean.

Before reaching Mui Ne, we stop at the ancient Cham Towers, one of the few remaining architectural treasures of the Champa Kingdom. Dating back over a thousand years, these historic structures showcase the remarkable craftsmanship and spiritual heritage of one of Southeast Asia's most influential civilizations.

In the late afternoon, we arrive in Mui Ne, Vietnam's famous beach destination known for its golden coastline, fishing villages, and relaxed atmosphere. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

DAY 3: MUI NE→ DI LINH: 160 KM  

 From Coastal Sand Dunes to the Central Highlands

After breakfast, we leave Mui Ne behind and begin one of the most diverse days of our Vietnam motorbike adventure, traveling from the sandy coastline into the cooler mountain landscapes of the Central Highlands.

Our first stop is the famous Fairy Stream, a unique natural attraction where a shallow stream winds through colorful red and white sand formations. Walking barefoot through the water, you'll discover a surreal landscape shaped by wind and erosion over thousands of years. Continuing along the coast, we visit a traditional fishing village where hundreds of colorful boats gather along the shoreline. Here, your guide will share stories about the daily lives of local fishermen and the importance of fishing communities along Vietnam's southern coast.

A short ride later, we reach the spectacular White Sand Dunes, one of the most iconic landscapes in Mui Ne. Vast rolling dunes rise from the surrounding countryside, creating a scene more reminiscent of a desert than tropical Vietnam. This is the perfect place to enjoy the scenery, take photographs, or simply admire one of the country's most unusual natural wonders.

Leaving the coast behind, our motorcycle journey heads inland through winding roads and increasingly dramatic mountain scenery. Along the way, we stop at a dragon fruit farm, where you'll learn why Binh Thuan Province is considered Vietnam's dragon fruit capital. Endless rows of cactus-like plants stretch across the landscape, creating a distinctive agricultural scene unique to this region.

As we climb into the highlands, we visit a K'ho ethnic minority village. The K'ho people have lived in these mountains for generations, maintaining many of their traditional customs and cultural practices. This visit provides a fascinating glimpse into the diverse ethnic cultures that make up Vietnam's rich heritage.

The afternoon offers some of the most enjoyable riding of the tour as we follow scenic mountain roads toward Di Linh. This section is a favorite among motorcycle enthusiasts, featuring sweeping curves, cooler temperatures, and spectacular views across the Central Highlands. Before reaching town, we stop at the vast tea plantations of Di Linh. Rolling green hills covered with tea bushes create one of the region's most beautiful landscapes and offer insight into one of Vietnam's most important agricultural industries.

Arriving in Di Linh in the late afternoon, we check into our homestay and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the Central Highlands.

DAY 4: DI LINH →  DAKMIL : 180 KM

Ta Dung Lake, Ho Chi Minh Trail & Central Highlands Motorbike Adventure

Leaving Di Linh after breakfast, we continue our Easy Rider motorbike journey through the heart of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery as we ride along winding roads to one of the region’s most spectacular natural attractions – Ta Dung Lake, often referred to as the “Second Ha Long Bay of the Central Highlands” thanks to its hundreds of small islands scattered across emerald waters.

After taking in the panoramic views, we visit a local H’mong ethnic village, where you can observe daily life and learn more about the traditions and culture of one of Vietnam’s many hill-tribe communities.

Continuing along this scenic Central Highlands motorbike route, we stop at a cashew plantation and processing factory, located in one of the world's largest cashew-producing regions. Here you can see how cashew nuts are processed for export and sample some freshly prepared products. Nearby, we also visit a rubber plantation, where your guide will explain the tapping process and the importance of rubber production to the local economy.

In the afternoon, we visit a cocoa plantation, where you’ll discover how cocoa is grown and transformed into chocolate. This lesser-known agricultural experience offers a fascinating insight into rural life in the Central Highlands.

The final section of today's motorbike adventure follows parts of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Road and Ho Chi Minh Trail. As we ride through rolling mountains and remote countryside, your guide will share stories about the Vietnam War, the strategic importance of the trail, and its role in connecting North and South Vietnam.

After a full day of riding through some of the most scenic landscapes in the Central Highlands, we arrive in Dakmil at approximately 5:00 PM.

DAY 5: DAK MIL → LAK LAKE : 140 KM

Waterfalls, Rice Fields & M’nong Culture in the Central Highlands

Leaving Dak Mil at 8:30 AM, today’s Easy Rider motorbike adventure takes us deeper into the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Our first destination is the spectacular Dray Sap Waterfall, one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Dak Lak Province. Surrounded by lush jungle, it is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and even take a refreshing swim.

After exploring the main waterfall, we will take a short walk of approximately 30 minutes through the national park to discover another hidden waterfall tucked away in the forest. Following our visit, we stop at a local restaurant for lunch before continuing our motorbike journey.

In the afternoon, we ride along quiet countryside roads lined with rice fields, offering excellent opportunities for photos and a glimpse into rural life in the Central Highlands. Along the way, we visit a local pepper plantation, one of the region’s most important agricultural products.

Before reaching Lak Lake, we take a small back road or a traditional wooden boat across the river to Lak Village, home to the indigenous M’nong people. Here, you can explore traditional stilt houses, learn about local customs, and gain insight into one of Vietnam’s oldest ethnic cultures.

After a scenic day of riding through waterfalls, farmland, and ethnic villages, we arrive at Lak Lake at approximately 5:00 PM, where we will spend the night surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Central Highlands.

DAY 6:  LAK LAKE → DALAT : 160 KM

Lake Sunrise, Coffee Culture & Easy Rider Roads to Da Lat

An early start rewards us with one of the most peaceful experiences of the entire tour. At sunrise, we take a traditional dugout canoe across the calm waters of Lak Lake, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and M’nong villages, the lake offers a glimpse into a way of life that has remained unchanged for generations. Along the shoreline, you may spot fishermen casting their nets, water buffalo grazing nearby, and local villagers beginning their day.

Back on land, we take time to explore Lak Village, where the indigenous M’nong people continue to preserve their traditional stilt houses, handicrafts, and unique cultural heritage. Walking through the village provides an authentic insight into daily life in the Central Highlands, far from the busy tourist routes.

Leaving Lak Lake behind, our Easy Rider motorbike tour heads south through scenic countryside roads toward Da Lat. The ride features beautiful mountain landscapes, winding roads, and endless views of coffee farms and farmland that make this region one of the highlights of any Vietnam motorbike adventure.

Along the way, we stop at a local coffee plantation, where you will learn about Vietnam’s coffee industry and sample different varieties, including Robusta, Arabica, and the famous Weasel Coffee. We then visit a local family to discover the traditional process of making homemade rice wine and enjoy a tasting of this strong local specialty.

In the afternoon, we continue to a traditional silkworm factory, where you can see the fascinating journey from cocoon to silk products. Our final major stop is the impressive Elephant Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Da Lat. Nearby, we visit a Buddhist temple complex featuring a giant Happy Buddha and one of the tallest Lady Buddha statues in southern Vietnam.

After a rewarding day combining nature, culture, and some of the best riding roads in the Central Highlands, we arrive in Da Lat at approximately 5:00 PM, marking the end of an unforgettable 6-day motorbike journey.

• While direct access to Elephant Waterfall is temporarily restricted, visitors can still admire its impressive beauty from the viewing area at Linh An Pagoda.
• If you would like meals to be included, an additional charge of USD 20 per person per day will apply.
• This is a private tour. We do not combine different bookings into large groups.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION

• Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• No scooters are used on this tour.
• Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
• For self-riding guests, we recommend bringing your own riding gear, including a jacket, pants, gloves, and appropriate shoes or boots, as the sizes of our protective equipment may not be suitable for everyone.
• Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. 
• Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.

LUGGAGE

• The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

• For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase separately to the tour's endpoint; however, an additional transportation fee will apply.
