TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: HA GIANG TO DONG VAN
Ride through Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Tham Ma Pass, and Dong Van Karst Plateau
Starting at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Ha Giang City, we begin our adventure along some of the most spectacular mountain roads in Northern Vietnam. After approximately 30 kilometers, we reach Bac Sum Pass, where dramatic karst mountains, lush green valleys, and winding roads create the perfect introduction to the stunning landscapes of Ha Giang.
Our next stop is Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where a short walk rewards us with panoramic views over the valley below, surrounded by towering limestone mountains and forested hills. We then visit a traditional H'Mong village, offering a fascinating insight into the unique culture, customs, and daily life of the local ethnic communities.
After enjoying lunch in Yen Minh Town, we continue riding through endless mountain roads, stopping frequently to admire the breathtaking scenery of limestone peaks, deep valleys, and terraced hillsides that make Ha Giang famous worldwide.
In the afternoon, we visit the famous Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Hills) and enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. We then continue to Tham Ma Pass, one of the highlights of the Ha Giang Loop, renowned for its winding roads, dramatic landscapes, and excellent photo opportunities.
Our journey continues to the historic H'Mong King's Palace (Vuong Palace) in Sa Phin Village, once the residence of the influential Vuong family who ruled the region during the French colonial era.
As we approach Dong Van, we enter the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark celebrated for its extraordinary geological formations, rich biodiversity, and unique cultural heritage. Take in the remarkable landscapes before arriving in Dong Van Town at approximately 4:00 PM.

DAY 2: DONG VAN TO MEO VAC
Visit Lung Cu Flag Tower, explore Lo Lo Chai Village, conquer the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Nho Que River.
Today is considered the highlight of the entire Ha Giang Loop. Prepare your camera, as every turn reveals another breathtaking mountain panorama. After breakfast, we ride through the stunning landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau towards Lung Cu, the northernmost point of Vietnam. Upon arrival, we climb to the top of the Lung Cu Flag Tower, a 30-meter-high monument crowned by a giant Vietnamese flag, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
We then continue through the traditional Lo Lo Chai Village, home to the Lo Lo ethnic minority, where you can gain insight into the unique culture and daily life of the local community. Along the way, we stop near the Vietnam–China border, where the Nho Que River forms part of the natural boundary between the two countries.
After returning to Dong Van for lunch, we continue our journey to the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most spectacular mountain passes in Vietnam. Famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs, winding roads, and breathtaking panoramic views, this iconic pass is considered one of the highlights of the entire Ha Giang Loop.
At the summit, we stop to admire and photograph the magnificent scenery overlooking the majestic mountains, deep valleys, and the emerald waters of the Nho Que River below. We then continue riding through a landscape of towering limestone peaks and winding mountain roads before descending into the picturesque valley of Meo Vac.
Arriving in Meo Vac in the late afternoon, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this charming mountain town.

DAY 3: MEO VAC TO DU GIA
Cruise through the spectacular Tu San Canyon on the Nho Que River and ride through remote mountain villages, valleys, and scenic roads to Du Gia.
If we visit on a Sunday morning, we will have the opportunity to explore the vibrant Meo Vac Market, where ethnic minority communities gather to trade livestock such as cows, buffaloes, pigs, and goats, as well as handmade clothing and local products. More than just a marketplace, it is an important cultural and social gathering for the H'Mong, Dao, Tay, and other ethnic groups in the region.
After visiting the market, we return to the Ma Pi Leng Pass area and descend to the Nho Que River for a scenic boat trip through the spectacular Tu San Canyon, known as the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and emerald-green waters, this peaceful cruise is one of the most unforgettable highlights of the Ha Giang Loop.
Following the boat trip, we continue our journey through the breathtaking mountain landscapes of Ha Giang. The route winds through dramatic limestone peaks, deep valleys, and remote ethnic minority villages, offering endless opportunities for photography and cultural encounters.
As we travel towards Du Gia Village, the scenery gradually changes to lush green hills, terraced rice fields, and peaceful countryside roads. Along the way, we stop at several scenic viewpoints to admire the magnificent landscapes and capture memorable photos.
Arriving in Du Gia Village in the late afternoon, you can relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of this charming mountain community surrounded by nature.

DAY 4: DU GIA TO PAC BO
Cross the dramatic Me Pia Pass, ride through remote border mountains, and explore Pac Bo, the historic birthplace of Vietnam's independence movement.
After breakfast, we begin our journey towards Cao Bang Province. Today is one of the longest and most rewarding riding days of the tour, taking us through some of the most remote and spectacular landscapes in Northeast Vietnam, close to the border with China. The route winds through dramatic mountain scenery, deep valleys, and remote villages rarely visited by tourists. Along the way, we ride on narrow mountain roads filled with twists, turns, and endless panoramic views, making this an unforgettable day for motorcycle enthusiasts.
One of today's highlights is the famous Me Pia Pass, often regarded as one of the most impressive mountain passes in Vietnam. Known as the "Dragon's Stairway," this remarkable road climbs a steep mountainside through 14 consecutive switchbacks, creating a breathtaking spectacle and offering incredible photo opportunities. We will stop here to enjoy the scenery before having lunch nearby.
In the afternoon, we continue to Pac Bo, one of Vietnam's most important historical sites. Surrounded by beautiful forests, limestone mountains, and crystal-clear streams, Pac Bo is where Ho Chi Minh returned to Vietnam in 1941 after spending three decades abroad. From here, he began the movement that would eventually lead to Vietnam's independence.
After exploring this fascinating historical landmark, we settle into our accommodation and enjoy a peaceful evening in the tranquil surroundings of Pac Bo.

DAY 5: PAC BO TO BAN GIOC WATERFALL
Ride through the stunning Cao Bang countryside, visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, enjoy a bamboo raft trip on the Quay Son River, and experience authentic Tay culture.
Today’s ride from Pac Bo to Ban Gioc Waterfall takes us through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Cao Bang Province, near the border with China. This scenic route winds through rolling hills, limestone mountains, peaceful valleys, and traditional ethnic minority villages, showcasing the remarkable beauty of Northeast Vietnam.
The road is well-paved and offers a comfortable ride with countless opportunities to admire the surrounding countryside. Around midday, we pass through Cao Bang City, where we stop for lunch, refuel, and take a short break before continuing our journey.
In the afternoon, we ride along one of the most picturesque roads in the region, passing terraced rice fields, lush valleys, dramatic karst formations, and charming rural communities. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to observe the daily life and culture of local ethnic groups such as the Tay, Nung, and H'Mong people.
As we approach Trung Khanh District, the landscape becomes even more spectacular before reaching the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Southeast Asia and a natural border between Vietnam and China.
Upon arrival, we explore the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall and enjoy a scenic bamboo raft ride along the Quay Son River, offering spectacular close-up views of the cascading waters and the dramatic limestone scenery. Surrounded by towering karst mountains and lush countryside, Ban Gioc is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Southeast Asia and a true highlight of the tour.
In the late afternoon, we arrive at a traditional Tay homestay, where you can unwind and experience authentic local hospitality. Enjoy a home-cooked dinner with your host family and learn more about Tay culture. Guests who are interested may also sample a small glass of traditional corn wine, a local specialty affectionately known as "Happy Water".

DAY 6: CAO BANG COUNTRYSIDE AND FINISH TRIP
Visit Truc Lam Phat Tich Pagoda, explore the magnificent Nguom Ngao Cave, and enjoy one final ride through the breathtaking landscapes of Cao Bang Province.
Start your final day with breakfast and a cup of Vietnamese coffee before visiting Truc Lam Phat Tich Pagoda, the first pagoda built along Vietnam’s northern border in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province. Perched on a hillside overlooking the surrounding karst landscape, the pagoda offers spectacular views of Ban Gioc Waterfall and the beautiful valley below.
After exploring the pagoda, we take a short ride to Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most impressive limestone caves in Vietnam. Known as “Tiger Cave” in the Tay language, Nguom Ngao is famous for its extraordinary stalactites and stalagmites, which have been naturally formed over thousands of years.
During our visit, we will have plenty of time to explore the cave’s vast chambers, fascinating rock formations, and unique underground landscape. The cave stretches for more than 2 kilometers and is considered one of the most remarkable natural attractions in Northern Vietnam.
After leaving the cave, we continue our scenic ride through the beautiful countryside of Cao Bang Province. Enjoy the final mountain roads, peaceful villages, and stunning landscapes before arriving in Cao Bang City in the afternoon.
Upon arrival, we will drop you off at your hotel in Cao Bang City or at the bus station for your onward journey to Hanoi, marking the end of an unforgettable 6-day adventure through the spectacular regions of Ha Giang and Cao Bang.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION
- Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
- No scooters are used on this tour.
- Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
- Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid.
- Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.
LUGGAGE
- The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase separately to the tour's endpoint; however, an additional transportation fee will apply.
