TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY→ DONG XOAI: 150KM

From Urban Energy to the Gateway of the Highlands

Leave the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City behind as your journey begins toward Dong Xoai, marking the first step into Vietnam’s southern countryside.

The highlight of the day is a visit to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the most significant historical sites from the Vietnam War. This vast underground network, stretching over 250 kilometers, was used by the Viet Cong as a hidden base for living, communication, supply routes, and strategic operations. Designed with multiple levels, narrow passages, hidden air vents, and even booby traps, the tunnels formed a fully functioning underground world that played a crucial role in wartime survival and resistance.

Walking through this site offers a powerful insight into Vietnam’s wartime history and the resilience of the people who lived and fought underground. After the visit, continue your ride into the peaceful countryside along the early section of the Ho Chi Minh Road, the legendary route that connects South to Central Vietnam.

Stop along the way to visit the historic Broken Bridge, a site associated with wartime history during both the French and American periods. Here, your guide will share stories that bring the past to life while you take a short break surrounded by rural landscapes. Enjoy a relaxing moment on a hammock with a cup of coffee before continuing your journey.

In the late afternoon, ride through quiet countryside roads as you approach Dong Xoai town, arriving around 4:00 PM.

DAY 2:  DONG XOAI→ DAKMIL:  180KM 

From Memory of War to the Quiet Beauty of the Highlands

Leaving Dong Xoai, the journey begins with a meaningful visit to the Martyrs’ Cemetery, a solemn place that offers a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s wartime history. Your guide will share stories that help bring context to the sacrifices and resilience of the past.

The ride continues to one of the most important agricultural regions in Vietnam, where you will visit a cashew plantation and processing factory. This is one of the largest cashew-growing areas in the world. Here, you will observe the full production process and have the chance to taste fresh local cashew products directly from the source.

Next, continue to a rubber plantation, where your guide explains the traditional tapping process of rubber trees. This delicate work is often done in the early morning to preserve the trees and maximize latex flow. The landscape here is especially striking during seasonal changes, when the trees shift from lush green to golden tones, creating a calm and almost surreal atmosphere.

The journey then opens into more dramatic scenery as you ride along quiet mountain roads near the Vietnam–Cambodia border. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the Vietnam civil war before 1975 and the historical significance of the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Later in the afternoon, take a short walk through a H’Mong ethnic village, where you can observe local life in one of Vietnam’s most remote communities. Arrive in Dak Mil around 5:00 PM for an overnight stay.

DAY 3: DAK MIL → LAK LAKE : 140 KM

Waterfalls, Rice Fields & M’nong Culture in the Central Highlands

Leaving Dak Mil at 8:30 AM, today’s Easy Rider motorbike adventure takes us deeper into the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Our first destination is the spectacular Dray Sap Waterfall, one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Dak Lak Province. Surrounded by lush jungle, it is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and even take a refreshing swim.

After exploring the main waterfall, we will take a short walk of approximately 30 minutes through the national park to discover another hidden waterfall tucked away in the forest. Following our visit, we stop at a local restaurant for lunch before continuing our motorbike journey.

In the afternoon, we ride along quiet countryside roads lined with rice fields, offering excellent opportunities for photos and a glimpse into rural life in the Central Highlands. Along the way, we visit a local pepper plantation, one of the region’s most important agricultural products.

Before reaching Lak Lake, we take a small back road or a traditional wooden boat across the river to Lak Village, home to the indigenous M’nong people. Here, you can explore traditional stilt houses, learn about local customs, and gain insight into one of Vietnam’s oldest ethnic cultures.

After a scenic day of riding through waterfalls, farmland, and ethnic villages, we arrive at Lak Lake at approximately 5:00 PM, where we will spend the night surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Central Highlands.

DAY 4:  LAK LAKE → DALAT: 160 KM

Lake Sunrise, Coffee Culture & Easy Rider Roads to Da Lat

An early start rewards us with one of the most peaceful experiences of the entire tour. At sunrise, we take a traditional dugout canoe across the calm waters of Lak Lake, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and M’nong villages, the lake offers a glimpse into a way of life that has remained unchanged for generations. Along the shoreline, you may spot fishermen casting their nets, water buffalo grazing nearby, and local villagers beginning their day.

Back on land, we take time to explore Lak Village, where the indigenous M’nong people continue to preserve their traditional stilt houses, handicrafts, and unique cultural heritage. Walking through the village provides an authentic insight into daily life in the Central Highlands, far from the busy tourist routes.

Leaving Lak Lake behind, our Easy Rider motorbike tour heads south through scenic countryside roads toward Da Lat. The ride features beautiful mountain landscapes, winding roads, and endless views of coffee farms and farmland that make this region one of the highlights of any Vietnam motorbike adventure.

Along the way, we stop at a local coffee plantation, where you will learn about Vietnam’s coffee industry and sample different varieties, including Robusta, Arabica, and the famous Weasel Coffee. We then visit a local family to discover the traditional process of making homemade rice wine and enjoy a tasting of this strong local specialty.

In the afternoon, we continue to a traditional silkworm factory, where you can see the fascinating journey from cocoon to silk products. Our final major stop is the impressive Elephant Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Da Lat. Nearby, we visit a Buddhist temple complex featuring a giant Happy Buddha and one of the tallest Lady Buddha statues in southern Vietnam.

After a rewarding day combining nature, culture, and some of the best riding roads in the Central Highlands, we arrive in Da Lat at approximately 5:00 PM, marking the end of an unforgettable motorbike journey from Mui Ne to Da Lat.

• Departure time: 8:30 AM from your hotel or the requested location in HCMC.
• The tour price does not include a support vehicle, but we can arrange these services for an additional cost if needed.
• The tour cost can be changed depending on the low/high tourist season or other special requests. Please contact us to get the right price for your tour.
• While direct access to Elephant Waterfall is temporarily restricted, visitors can still admire its impressive beauty from the viewing area at Linh An Pagoda.
• If you would like meals to be included, an additional charge of USD 20 per person per day will apply.
• This is a private tour. We do not combine different bookings into large groups.
• Flexible departure dates are available throughout the year.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION

• Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• No scooters are used on this tour.
• Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
• Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. 
• Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.

LUGGAGE

• The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

• For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase separately to the tour's endpoint; however, an additional transportation fee will apply.
