TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: HUE → KHE SANH: 220 KM
From the DMZ Coastline to the Historic Battlefields of Khe Sanh
Leaving the former imperial capital of Hue, we begin our journey along the scenic coastline of Central Vietnam. Our first highlight is Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, traditional fishing villages, and stunning waterside landscapes.
Continuing north, we reach Hien Luong Bridge and the Ben Hai River, located on the historic 17th Parallel that once divided North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Here, your Easy Rider guide will share fascinating stories about the DMZ and the country's reunification history.
Following the coast, we visit the famous Vinh Moc Tunnels, an extraordinary underground village built by local residents to survive years of intense bombing during the war. Explore the hand-dug tunnel system, which once housed homes, kitchens, medical facilities, and classrooms deep beneath the ground.
After lunch, we leave the coastline behind and head west toward the Truong Son Mountains. The scenery changes dramatically as we ride through lush forests, rolling hills, and remote countryside along roads closely connected to the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail.
In the afternoon, we stop at Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery, Vietnam's largest war memorial cemetery, honoring thousands of soldiers who lost their lives during the war. We then continue to The Rockpile, a famous military observation point that played a strategic role during the conflict and offers impressive views over the surrounding mountains.
Arriving in Khe Sanh in the late afternoon, you will have time to relax and reflect on a day filled with breathtaking scenery and remarkable wartime history.

Deep into the Ho Chi Minh Trail & Ethnic Mountain Villages
After breakfast, we leave Khe Sanh and continue our adventure along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, one of the most scenic motorbike routes in Vietnam. Surrounded by dense jungles and towering mountains, today's ride offers a perfect combination of natural beauty, cultural encounters, and wartime history.
Along the way, we visit several ethnic minority communities, including the Co Tu and Pa Co villages, where you can learn about traditional customs, daily life, and the unique cultures of the people who have lived in these remote mountains for generations.
Continuing through the Truong Son Range, we ride across some of the most spectacular mountain roads in Central Vietnam. Enjoy breathtaking views of endless forests, deep valleys, and winding mountain passes. We also stop at the iconic Dakrong Bridge, a historic landmark on the Ho Chi Minh Trail that played an important role during the Vietnam War.
Before leaving the Khe Sanh region, we visit the former Ta Con Airbase (Khe Sanh Combat Base), one of the most significant military sites of the war. Here, you can see preserved aircraft, helicopters, and learn more about the famous Battle of Khe Sanh.

Leaving the highlands behind, we descend toward the coast and stop at My Khe Beach, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful stretches of coastline. Take a stroll along the white sandy beach, enjoy the sea breeze, and learn about the area's historical significance during the Vietnam War.
Our journey continues to Dream Stream (Suoi Mo), a hidden natural retreat nestled in the mountains near Lang Co. Surrounded by lush forests, crystal-clear water, and small cascading waterfalls, it is the perfect place to relax, swim, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of nature.
