DAY 1: DA NANG – MY SON SANCTUARY – PRAO: 170 KM

After breakfast, we leave Da Nang and ride towards My Son Sanctuary, one of the most important historical sites of the ancient Champa Kingdom.

After visiting My Son, we continue west towards the mountains and join the Ho Chi Minh Trail, riding through the spectacular countryside of Central Vietnam.

This scenic route takes us away from the busy tourist areas and into remote mountain landscapes, passing through forests, small villages, rivers and traditional communities. Along the way, we will have plenty of opportunities to stop for photos, enjoy local coffee and experience authentic rural life.

We continue riding towards Prao, the gateway to the beautiful mountains of Quang Nam. The road becomes increasingly scenic as we ride deeper into the Central Highlands.

We arrive in Prao in the late afternoon, check into our accommodation and relax after a full day of riding.

DAY 2: PRAO TO HUE: 170 KM

Ho Chi Minh Trail, Mountain Passes & Hidden Waterfalls

After breakfast, we continue our Easy Rider motorbike adventure along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, one of Vietnam’s most scenic and historic routes. Winding through dense jungle, remote mountain ranges, and peaceful valleys, this section of the trail offers spectacular views and a fascinating insight into the region's wartime history. Along the way, we stop at several panoramic viewpoints where your guide will share stories about the Vietnam War and the strategic importance of this historic route.

Our motorbike journey continues through untouched landscapes and pristine forests before reaching a hidden waterfall, where you can relax, swim, and enjoy the tranquility of the Central Vietnam highlands.

Leaving the mountains behind, we visit a traditional ethnic minority village to learn about local customs and daily life before arriving in A Luoi for lunch.

In the afternoon, we ride over the scenic Ma Oi Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the region. From the summit, enjoy sweeping views of forests, valleys, and rugged peaks stretching into the distance. We also stop at local rubber plantations, where you'll learn about rubber production and hear stories about the lasting impact of Agent Orange on Central Vietnam during the war.

Our scenic motorcycle tour concludes in the historic city of Hue, where we arrive around 5:00 PM.

DAY 3: HUE RETURN TO DA NANG: 140KM

Ride through peaceful countryside and rice fields, visit Tam Giang Lagoon & Fishing Village, relax at Suoi Mo (Dream Stream), enjoy Lang Co Beach, conquer the scenic Hai Van Pass, explore the historic French Bunkers, and visit Linh Ung Pagoda & the 67m Lady Buddha before arriving back Da Nang.

The motorbike journey from Hue to Da Nang covers approximately 140 km, taking you through some of the most spectacular landscapes of Central Vietnam. Along the way, you will ride through peaceful countryside, rice paddies, fishing villages, mountain roads, coastal scenery, and the famous Hai Van Pass.

Start at around 8:30 AM from your hotel in Hue and begin the journey through the beautiful countryside. Ride along quiet local roads surrounded by green rice paddy fields before stopping at a local mushroom farm. Here, you can learn about traditional mushroom cultivation and see how local farmers produce mushrooms.

Continue toward Tam Giang Lagoon, one of the largest lagoon systems in Southeast Asia. Ride through the countryside to a traditional fishing village, where you can take a short walk around the village and observe the daily life and work of the local fishing community.

From Tam Giang Lagoon, continue toward Suoi Mo (Dream Stream) near Lang Co. Hidden among the mountains, this peaceful natural spot features lush green surroundings, clear freshwater pools, and small cascading waterfalls. Take some time to relax, enjoy the natural scenery, and, weather permitting, have a refreshing swim in the stream.

After enjoying Suoi Mo, continue to Lang Co Beach for lunch at a local restaurant. Take a break and enjoy fresh local food before continuing the afternoon ride.

After lunch, the route heads toward the spectacular Hai Van Pass, one of the most scenic mountain roads in Central Vietnam. The pass rises between the mountains and the sea, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Lang Co Bay, the South China Sea, and the surrounding mountains.

At the summit of Hai Van Pass, stop to explore the historic French-era military bunkers. These old fortifications provide a fascinating glimpse into the strategic importance of the pass throughout Vietnam's history. Take some time to walk around, enjoy the panoramic views, and capture photographs of the dramatic coastline.

Continue down the mountain toward Da Nang and visit Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula. Take a short walk to see the impressive 67-meter Lady Buddha statue and enjoy panoramic views overlooking Da Nang City, the coastline, and the ocean.

After visiting Linh Ung Pagoda, continue the scenic ride through Da Nang and return to the city center. The journey ends at approximately 5:00 PM in Da Nang, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-Day Central Vietnam Easy Rider Loop.

This final day combines scenic mountain roads, coastal landscapes, local culture, historic sites, and the legendary Hai Van Pass, offering a memorable conclusion to your motorcycle adventure through Central Vietnam.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION

• Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• No scooters are used on this tour.
• Self-riding package includes the motorcycle and fuel for the entire tour.
• For self-riding guests, we recommend bringing your own riding gear, including a jacket, pants, gloves, and appropriate shoes or boots, as the sizes of our protective equipment may not be suitable for everyone.
• Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. 
• Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.

LUGGAGE

• The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

• We recommend bringing only essential items for the tour and leaving excess luggage at your hotel in Da Nang if possible.
