TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: DA NANG TO PRAO: 140 KM
Hai Van Pass, Dream Waterfall & the Ho Chi Minh Trail
Your Easy Rider adventure begins with one of the most scenic rides in Central Vietnam. Leaving Da Nang in the morning, we head south along the coast to visit the famous Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone and marble hills renowned for their ancient caves, Buddhist pagodas, and spectacular viewpoints overlooking the city, coastline, and the East Sea.
From here, we ride toward the legendary Hai Van Pass, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Southeast Asia. Known as the "Pass of Ocean Clouds," this winding mountain road offers breathtaking views where lush mountains meet the turquoise sea. At the summit, we stop to explore the historic French bunkers and enjoy panoramic views stretching along Vietnam's central coastline.
After descending the pass, we enjoy lunch near Lang Co Beach before visiting the hidden Dream Waterfall (Suoi Mo). Nestled among lush forest and mountain streams, this peaceful natural retreat is the perfect place to relax, swim, and experience the untouched beauty of Central Vietnam.
In the afternoon, we leave the coast behind and begin riding along sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Surrounded by mountains, jungle landscapes, and quiet countryside, this scenic route offers some of the most enjoyable riding of the entire journey. Along the way, we visit a local tea plantation and a traditional ethnic minority village, providing a fascinating insight into the culture and daily life of the region's indigenous communities.
Arriving in Prao in the late afternoon, we check into our hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in the heart of the Truong Son Mountains.
Overnight: Hotel in Prao

DAY 2: PRAO TO KHE SANH: 200 KM
Dakrong Bridge & the Legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail
Today's ride takes us deeper into the remote mountains of Central Vietnam, following one of the most scenic sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Surrounded by dense jungle, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking landscapes, this is a day filled with adventure, culture, and wartime history.
Leaving Prao in the morning, we travel through traditional ethnic minority communities, including villages inhabited by the Co Tu and Pa Co people. These remote settlements offer a fascinating glimpse into the unique customs, lifestyles, and cultural traditions that have been preserved for generations in Vietnam's mountainous regions.
Continuing along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, we ride through spectacular scenery featuring lush forests, dramatic valleys, and some of the most enjoyable mountain roads in the country. One of the highlights of the day is the historic Dakrong Bridge, an iconic landmark along the former wartime supply route and a perfect location to admire the stunning landscapes of the Truong Son Mountains.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Khe Sanh, a town deeply connected to the history of the Vietnam War. Here, we visit the former Ta Con Military Airport, part of the famous Khe Sanh Combat Base. Explore the preserved military exhibits, including aircraft, helicopters, and historical relics, while learning about one of the most significant battlefields of the war.
After a rewarding day of riding, we check into our hotel in Khe Sanh. In the evening, you may choose to relax, explore the town, or enjoy a fun karaoke session with our friendly Easy Rider guides—a memorable way to experience local Vietnamese culture.
Overnight: Hotel in Khe Sanh

DAY 3: KHE SANH TO HUE: 210 KM
DMZ History, Vinh Moc Tunnels & Coastal Roads
Our final day combines spectacular riding with some of the most important historical sites from the Vietnam War. From the mountains of Khe Sanh to the peaceful lagoons and coastline near Hue, today's journey offers a fascinating blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.
Leaving Khe Sanh in the morning, we travel through the former DMZ region and visit the famous Rockpile, a strategic U.S. military observation post during the Vietnam War. Rising dramatically above the surrounding landscape, this iconic landmark played a key role in monitoring troop movements and supply routes along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Continuing eastward, we stop at the Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery, the largest military cemetery in Vietnam. This powerful memorial honors thousands of Vietnamese soldiers who lost their lives along the Ho Chi Minh Trail and serves as an important reminder of the country's wartime history.
The journey then takes us to the historic Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River at the 17th Parallel, the former dividing line between North and South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975. Walking across the bridge offers both beautiful photo opportunities and a deeper understanding of one of the most significant chapters in Vietnamese history.
Next, we explore the remarkable Vinh Moc Tunnels, an underground village hand-dug by local residents to survive years of intense bombing during the war. Hidden beneath the earth are living quarters, kitchens, wells, medical stations, and classrooms, offering a powerful insight into the resilience of the local people.
In the afternoon, we leave the historic DMZ behind and follow the scenic coastal route past Cua Tung Beach before arriving at the tranquil Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest brackish-water lagoon system in Southeast Asia. Here, enjoy the peaceful scenery, traditional fishing communities, and beautiful views that provide a perfect contrast to the wartime history experienced earlier in the day.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Hue, bringing our unforgettable 3-day Easy Rider adventure to a close. From the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail and historic battlefields to stunning coastal landscapes and local culture, this journey offers a unique perspective on the beauty and history of Central Vietnam.
