DAY 1: HUE  → PRAO: 170 KM

From Imperial Hue to the Legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail

Leaving Hue behind, we begin our adventure westward toward the mountains of central Vietnam. Our first stop is the scenic Ma Oi Pass, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the lush valleys and surrounding highlands. Along the way, we visit Mau Waterfall for a refreshing swim and discover the traditional handicrafts of the Van Kieu ethnic minority people.

Continuing deeper into the mountains, we join the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail – one of Vietnam’s most historic roads. Once a vital supply route during the Vietnam War, it has now become one of the country's most spectacular riding routes, winding through dense jungles, remote villages, and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Throughout the journey, your Easy Rider guide will share fascinating stories about the history of the trail and its significance during the war.

After lunch in A Luoi Town, we continue riding along quiet stretches of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, surrounded by untouched nature and stunning mountain scenery. There will be opportunities to stop at scenic viewpoints, visit local ethnic minority villages, and experience the warm hospitality of people living in these remote regions.

In the afternoon, we ride through pristine forests and highland landscapes, stopping at another beautiful waterfall where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As the sun begins to set, we arrive in the small mountain town of Prao for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: PRAO  →  HOI AN: 150 KM

From the Ho Chi Minh Trail to the Legendary Hai Van Pass

After breakfast, we continue our ride along the scenic Ho Chi Minh Trail, passing lush mountains, remote villages, and peaceful tea plantations. This section of the journey offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in Central Vietnam, with winding roads surrounded by untouched nature.

Leaving the mountains behind, we descend toward the coast and stop at My Khe Beach, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful beaches and a site with significant military history during the French and American wars. Take time to relax on the soft white sand and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.

Next, we visit Dream Stream (Suoi Mo), a hidden natural retreat nestled in the mountains near Lang Co. Surrounded by lush forests, crystal-clear water, and small cascades, it is the perfect place to swim, relax, and enjoy nature.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we conquer the world-famous Hai Van Pass, often called the “Sea of Clouds Pass.” This spectacular mountain road offers breathtaking views of the coastline, mountains, and ocean below. At the summit, we visit the historic French bunker, a strategic military outpost that played an important role during both the French colonial era and the Vietnam War.

In the afternoon, we continue to Marble Mountains, where you can explore ancient caves, Buddhist pagodas, and impressive stone sculptures. From here, it is a short ride to the charming ancient town of Hoi An, where we conclude our unforgettable motorbike adventure.

• Departure time: 8:30 AM from your hotel or the requested location in Hue old town.
• The tour price does not include a support vehicle, but we can arrange these services for an additional cost if needed.
• The tour cost can be changed depending on the low/high tourist season or other special requests. Please contact us to get the right price for your tour.
• If you would like meals to be included, an additional charge of USD 15 per person per day will apply.
• This is a private tour. We do not combine different bookings into large groups.
• Flexible departure dates are available throughout the year.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION

• Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• No scooters are used on this tour.
• Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
• Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. 
• Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.

LUGGAGE

• The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

• For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase separately to the tour's endpoint; however, an additional transportation fee will apply.
