DAY 1: HOI AN TO PRAO: 150 KM

Coastal Roads, Hai Van Pass & the Ho Chi Minh Trail

Your Easy Rider motorbike adventure begins at 8:30 AM as we leave Hoi An and follow the scenic coastline toward Da Nang. Our first stop is Marble Mountain, a cluster of limestone hills featuring ancient caves, pagodas, and panoramic views over the city and coastline. We then visit Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the impressive 67-meter Lady Buddha statue overlooking the East Sea.

Continuing north, we ride one of Vietnam’s most iconic coastal roads across the legendary Hai Van Pass. Known as the “Pass of Ocean Clouds,” this spectacular mountain road offers breathtaking views of the coastline, jungle-covered mountains, and hidden bays. At the summit, we stop to explore the historic French and American military bunkers while enjoying one of the most famous viewpoints in Vietnam.

After lunch near Lang Co Beach, we head to Dream Waterfall (Suoi Mo), a peaceful natural retreat surrounded by lush forest and crystal-clear streams. Take time to relax, swim, and enjoy the refreshing mountain atmosphere.

In the afternoon, our motorbike journey turns inland as we join sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Riding through remote mountain landscapes, we visit a local tea plantation and an ethnic minority village before arriving in Prao around 4:00 PM.

DAY 2: PRAO TO HUE: 170 KM

Ho Chi Minh Trail, Mountain Passes & Hidden Waterfalls

After breakfast, we continue our Easy Rider motorbike adventure along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, one of Vietnam’s most scenic and historic routes. Winding through dense jungle, remote mountain ranges, and peaceful valleys, this section of the trail offers spectacular views and a fascinating insight into the region's wartime history. Along the way, we stop at several panoramic viewpoints where your guide will share stories about the Vietnam War and the strategic importance of this historic route.

Our motorbike journey continues through untouched landscapes and pristine forests before reaching a hidden waterfall, where you can relax, swim, and enjoy the tranquility of the Central Vietnam highlands.

Leaving the mountains behind, we visit a traditional ethnic minority village to learn about local customs and daily life before arriving in A Luoi for lunch.

In the afternoon, we ride over the scenic Ma Oi Pass, one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the region. From the summit, enjoy sweeping views of forests, valleys, and rugged peaks stretching into the distance. We also stop at local rubber plantations, where you'll learn about rubber production and hear stories about the lasting impact of Agent Orange on Central Vietnam during the war.

Our scenic motorcycle tour concludes in the historic city of Hue, where we arrive around 5:00 PM.

TOUR INFORMATION

• Departure time: 8:30 AM from your hotel or the requested location in Hoi An old town.
• The tour price does not include a support vehicle, but we can arrange these services for an additional cost if needed.
• The tour cost can be changed depending on the low/high tourist season or other special requests. Please contact us to get the right price for your tour.
• If you would like meals to be included, an additional charge of USD 15 per person per day will apply.
• This is a private tour. We do not combine different bookings into large groups.
• Flexible departure dates are available throughout the year.
• Customized itineraries can be arranged upon request.

• Hotel upgrades are available upon request for an additional charge.
• For group bookings, guests requesting separate rooms may incur a room supplement fee.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION

• Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• No scooters are used on this tour.
• Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
• Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. 
• Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.

LUGGAGE

• The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

• For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase separately to the tour's endpoint; however, an additional transportation fee will apply.

WEATHER & ITINERARY

• Due to weather conditions, road conditions, seasonal factors, and local circumstances, the itinerary may be adjusted to ensure the best possible experience and safety.
• Any significant changes will be communicated before or during the tour.

INSURANCE

• Personal travel insurance and accident insurance are not included.
• Guests are strongly advised to arrange suitable travel insurance before joining the tour.
