The 2-Day Da Lat to Buon Ma Thuot Motorbike Tour is a fantastic adventure through the heart of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Ride along scenic mountain roads, visit stunning waterfalls, explore traditional ethnic minority villages, and experience the unique culture of the M’nong people at Lak Lake.

TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: DALAT → LAK LAKE: 160 KM
Ride through the Central Highlands, visit coffee plantations, traditional workshops, Linh An Pagoda, and end the day at peaceful Lak Lake.
Your Easy Rider adventure begins at 8:30 AM as we leave Da Lat and ride through the beautiful countryside of the Central Highlands. The morning takes us through flower-growing villages where local farmers cultivate roses, lilies, gerberas, and many other flowers that are distributed throughout Vietnam every day.
Continuing along winding mountain roads, we descend through one of the most scenic passes in the region before arriving at a coffee plantation. Here, you'll learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed in Vietnam. Discover the differences between Robusta, Arabica, Moka, and the famous Weasel Coffee while enjoying a freshly brewed cup overlooking the surrounding hills.
The journey continues with a visit to a local family producing traditional rice wine. Learn about the production process and, if you wish, sample a small glass of the local "happy water". We then visit a traditional silk factory where you'll see the fascinating journey from silkworm cocoon to finished silk products.
After lunch, we stop at Elephant Waterfall and nearby Linh An Pagoda, home to a giant Happy Buddha and one of the tallest Lady Buddha statues in southern Vietnam.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic ride through rice fields, fishing villages, and countryside roads before visiting a floating fishing village. Arrive at Lak Lake around 5:00 PM and relax beside one of Vietnam's largest natural freshwater lakes.

DAY 2: LAK LAKE → BUON MA THUOT (BMT CITY): 120 KM
Sunrise on Lak Lake & the Heart of the Central Highlands
Wake up early for a memorable dugout canoe trip across Lak Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and traditional M’nong villages, the peaceful morning atmosphere offers a unique glimpse into local life. As you glide across the calm waters, you may spot fishermen, water buffalo, and a variety of bird species while enjoying the stunning natural scenery.
After returning to shore, take a walk through a traditional M’nong village to learn about the culture and daily life of one of the region’s oldest ethnic groups. Discover their distinctive stilt houses, traditional crafts, and centuries-old customs that continue to thrive today.
Leaving Lak Lake behind, we ride through the beautiful countryside toward Buon Ma Thuot. Along the way, we stop at Elephant Rock, where a short hike rewards you with panoramic views of the surrounding highlands. We then visit the spectacular Dray Nur Waterfall, one of the largest and most impressive waterfalls in the Central Highlands.
Before reaching Buon Ma Thuot, we visit several local farms and family-run workshops, including cocoa plantations, rubber plantation, pepper plantaion offering a fascinating insight into the region’s agricultural traditions.
Arriving in Buon Ma Thuot in the late afternoon, we conclude our unforgettable 2-day motorbike adventure through the Central Highlands.

TOUR INFORMATION
- Departure time: 8:30 AM from your hotel or the requested location in Dalat city.
- The tour price does not include a support vehicle, but we can arrange this service for an additional cost if needed.
- The tour cost can be changed depending on the low/high tourist season or other special requests. Please contact us to get the right price for your tour.
- If you would like meals to be included, an additional charge of USD 15 per person per day will apply.
- This is a private tour. We do not combine different bookings into large groups.
- Flexible departure dates are available throughout the year.
- Customized itineraries can be arranged upon request.
- Elephant Waterfall is currently closed by the government. However, we can still enjoy a great view of the waterfall from Linh An Pagoda.
ACCOMMODATION
- Private rooms are included at local hotels or homestays throughout the tour.
- Guests wishing to upgrade their accommodation may choose to stay at Lake Tented Camp (Lake Eco Lodge). Reservations can be made directly with the property, or we can assist with the booking on your behalf. Room rates are subject to availability and will be confirmed once we receive the latest pricing from the resort.
- For group bookings, guests requesting separate rooms may incur a room supplement fee.
MOTORBIKE INFORMATION
- Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
- No scooters are used on this tour.
- Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
- Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country.
- Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam, please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. We’ll help you find the best solution and make sure your trip goes smoothly.
- Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.
LUGGAGE
- Backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase to the end point of the tour.
