DAY 1: NHA TRANG →  DALAT: 150 KM

Ride scenic mountain roads into the Central Highlands

Your Nha Trang to Hoi An Motorbike Tour begins with an exciting ride from the tropical coastline of Nha Trang into the cool mountain landscapes of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Today's journey offers a perfect combination of history, scenic mountain roads, waterfalls, rural countryside, and cultural discoveries.

After leaving Nha Trang, we visit the historic Po Nagar Cham Towers, one of the most important remnants of the ancient Champa Kingdom. Built between the 8th and 13th centuries, these impressive Hindu temples showcase the rich cultural heritage and unique architecture of the Cham people.

Leaving the coast behind, we ride west into the mountains, following winding roads through lush forests and spectacular landscapes. Along the way, we stop at several scenic viewpoints where you can admire panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. We also visit a beautiful natural waterfall near the summit of Hon Giao Pass, located at approximately 1,500 meters above sea level.

As we continue through the countryside, you'll pass rice fields, sugarcane plantations, and small rural villages, providing a glimpse into local life away from the tourist trail.

Before arriving in Da Lat, we visit the remarkable Linh Phuoc Pagoda, famous for its intricate mosaics made from millions of pieces of broken glass, pottery, and ceramics. The pagoda's most impressive feature is its enormous dragon sculpture, a masterpiece of Vietnamese craftsmanship and creativity.

Arriving in Da Lat in the late afternoon, you'll immediately notice the refreshing mountain climate and charming atmosphere of Vietnam's most famous hill station.

DAY 2: DALAT →  LAK LAKE: 160 KM

Coffee Plantations, Silk Villages & Elephant Waterfall

Your Easy Rider adventure begins at 8:30 AM as we leave Da Lat and ride through the beautiful countryside of the Central Highlands. The morning takes us through flower-growing villages where local farmers cultivate roses, lilies, gerberas, and many other flowers that are distributed throughout Vietnam every day.

Continuing along winding mountain roads, we descend through one of the most scenic passes in the region before arriving at a coffee plantation. Here, you'll learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed in Vietnam. Discover the differences between Robusta, Arabica, Moka, and the famous Weasel Coffee while enjoying a freshly brewed cup overlooking the surrounding hills.

The journey continues with a visit to a local family producing traditional rice wine. Learn about the production process and, if you wish, sample a small glass of the local "happy water". We then visit a traditional silk factory where you'll see the fascinating journey from silkworm cocoon to finished silk products.

After lunch, we stop at Elephant Waterfall and nearby Linh An Pagoda, home to a giant Happy Buddha and one of the tallest Lady Buddha statues in southern Vietnam. 

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic ride through rice fields, fishing villages, and countryside roads before visiting a floating fishing village. Arrive at Lak Lake around 5:00 PM and relax beside one of Vietnam's largest natural freshwater lakes.

DAY 3: LAK LAKE → BUON MA THUOT (BMT CITY): 120 KM

Lak Lake Sunrise Canoe & Dray Sap Waterfall

Wake up early for one of the highlights of the tour – a traditional dugout canoe trip across Lak Lake. As the morning mist drifts across the water, local fishermen begin their day while water buffalo graze peacefully along the lakeshore.

After breakfast, take a walk through a traditional M'nong village. The M'nong people have lived in this region for generations and continue to preserve many of their traditional customs, architecture, and way of life. This is a great opportunity to learn about one of Vietnam's most fascinating ethnic minority cultures.

Leaving Lak Lake behind, we ride through rural roads and agricultural landscapes toward the spectacular Dray Sap Waterfall. Surrounded by jungle and national park scenery, this is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Central Highlands. There is time to relax, swim, and explore the surrounding area.

During the afternoon, we continue through rice fields and villages, stopping at local cocoa plantations, homemade noodles, and seasonal mushroom farms before arriving in Buon Ma Thuot, known as Vietnam's coffee capital.

DAY 4: BMT CITY → CHUSE: 160 KM

Coffee Capital, Pepper Farms & Ho Chi Minh Trail

After breakfast, we visit the Dak Lak Museum, one of the most interesting cultural museums in the Central Highlands. The museum offers insight into the history, culture, and traditions of the Ede, Jarai, and M'nong people, as well as the region's role during the Vietnam War.

Leaving Buon Ma Thuot, we ride through coffee plantations, rice fields, and quiet countryside roads before visiting a pepper plantation. Here you'll learn how one of Vietnam's most valuable export crops is cultivated and processed.

The ride continues through vast rubber plantations and beautiful rural landscapes as we join sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the trail's significance during the Vietnam War and its importance in modern Vietnamese history.

After lunch, we visit Phu Cuong Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Gia Lai Province. Surrounded by volcanic rock formations and lush greenery, it provides an excellent place to relax before continuing to Chu Se.

DAY 5: CHUSE → KONTUM: 110 KM

Sea Lake, Tea Plantations & Kontum Culture

This morning, we continue along the scenic roads of the Central Highlands to visit Sea Lake, often known as the "Eyes of Pleiku". Formed within an ancient volcanic crater, the lake is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Gia Lai Province.

Nearby, we visit one of the oldest tea plantations in the region, originally established during the French colonial period. Walk through the rolling tea fields and enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. We also stop at a historic Buddhist temple known for its impressive reclining Buddha statue before continuing to Kontum.

After lunch, explore Kontum, a peaceful town located along the Dak Bla River and home to several ethnic minority communities. Visit to Kontum's famous Wooden Church. Built in 1913, this unique landmark combines European church architecture with traditional Central Highlands influences, making it one of the most distinctive religious buildings in Vietnam. Heading to Kon K'tu Village, here you'll see traditional Rong Houses and gain a deeper understanding of Bahnar culture and local village life.

DAY 6: KONTUM → KHAM DUC: 180 KM

Legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, waterfall & mountain scenery

 Leaving Kontum behind, we continue north along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail. The road winds through mountains, forests, and remote villages, offering some of the most enjoyable riding of the entire journey.

Our first major stop is Ngoc Hoi, an area that played an important role during the Vietnam War. Here we visit local war memorials and learn more about the history of the region before continuing deeper into the Truong Son ranges.

One of the highlights of the day is Charlie Hill, one of the most significant battlefields of the Vietnam War. Your guide will explain the strategic importance of this area and the events that took place here during the conflict. Nearby, we also visit the former Phoenix Airport, another important military site connected to wartime operations in the Central Highlands.

Continuing along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, we reach the famous Indochina region where Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia meet. This area offers spectacular mountain scenery and provides a fascinating insight into the geography and history of the region.

After lunch, the ride continues through beautiful mountain landscapes and dense forests. We stop at a natural stream hidden among the hills, where there is time to relax, swim, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading towards Kham Duc.

Arrive in Kham Duc in the late afternoon after one of the most scenic riding days of the tour.

DAY 7: KHAM DUC → A LUOI: 220 KM

 Ride one of the most scenic sections of the Ho Chi Minh Trail

Today is one of the most rewarding riding days of the tour as we continue north along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, one of Vietnam's most historic and scenic motorbike routes. Surrounded by pristine forests, winding mountain roads, and remote ethnic villages, this section offers an authentic glimpse into rural Vietnam far from the tourist crowds.

After breakfast, we ride through the spectacular landscapes of the Truong Son Mountains, following quiet roads shaded by dense tropical forests. Along the way, we visit a section of the historic wartime fuel pipeline system that once supplied military vehicles traveling along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. This remarkable site provides insight into the strategic importance of the route during the Vietnam War.

Continuing north, we enter the homeland of the Ta Oi ethnic minority people. Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn about their unique traditions, culture, and daily life while exploring villages nestled among the mountains. We also pass through communities of the Pa Co and Van Kieu ethnic groups, whose remote settlements remain largely unchanged by modern tourism.

Throughout the day, the ride takes us through some of the most beautiful sections of the Ho Chi Minh Road, featuring winding mountain passes, lush valleys, rivers, and endless forest scenery. We make several stops for photos and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Along the route, we visit a beautiful natural waterfall where you can relax, take photos, or enjoy a refreshing swim before continuing deeper into the mountains.

As we approach A Luoi, our guide will share stories about the region's historical significance and its important role along the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the Vietnam War. This area remains one of the most fascinating regions for travelers interested in both history and culture.

Arriving in A Luoi in the late afternoon, you'll have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this remote mountain town after another unforgettable day of riding through Central Vietnam.

DAY 8: A LUOI → HUE: 280 KM

Explore the historic Khe Sanh Combat Base, Ta Con Airfield, the famous Rockpile military observation point, and the transition from mountains to coastline.

Today is one of the most diverse days of the tour, combining legendary wartime history, spectacular mountain roads, and beautiful coastal scenery as we continue riding from A Luoi to Hue.

After breakfast, we follow a remote section of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail before joining Route 9, a strategic road that once connected Central Vietnam with Laos. This route is famous for its winding mountain roads, lush forests, and dramatic landscapes, making it one of the most enjoyable riding days for motorbike enthusiasts.

Our first major stop is Khe Sanh Combat Base and Ta Con Airfield, one of the most significant historical sites of the Vietnam War. During the famous Battle of Khe Sanh in 1968, this military base played a crucial role in one of the longest and most intense confrontations of the conflict. Today, visitors can explore preserved bunkers, trenches, military vehicles, aircraft, and exhibits that provide fascinating insight into this important chapter of Vietnam's history.

Continuing along the route, we visit the legendary Rockpile, a prominent mountain peak that served as a strategic military observation post during the war. Rising dramatically above the surrounding valleys, it remains one of the most iconic landmarks along Route 9.

Leaving the mountains behind, we gradually descend toward the coast, enjoying changing landscapes as dense forests give way to rice fields, villages, and open lagoons. In the afternoon, we ride along the shores of Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest brackish water lagoon system in Southeast Asia. After several days riding along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, today offers a relaxing cultural experience in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam and one of the country's most fascinating historical destinations.

Located on the banks of the Perfume River, Hue served as the political, cultural, and religious center of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. Known for its royal heritage, ancient architecture, and peaceful atmosphere, Hue is home to some of Vietnam's most important UNESCO-recognized cultural treasures.

After breakfast, we begin our exploration of the magnificent Imperial City of Hue, the historic heart of the Nguyen Dynasty. Surrounded by ancient walls and moats, this UNESCO World Heritage Site features impressive palaces, temples, courtyards, and gates that reflect the grandeur of Vietnam's last royal family. Walking through the Citadel provides a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam's imperial past.

We then continue to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous landmarks in Central Vietnam. Overlooking the Perfume River, this elegant seven-story pagoda has become a symbol of Hue and offers a peaceful setting to learn about Vietnamese Buddhism and local traditions.

In the afternoon, we visit two of Hue's most remarkable royal tombs. After breakfast, we leave Hue and ride through the scenic countryside, passing rice paddies, local villages, and agricultural farms. Along the way, we stop at a traditional mushroom farm to learn about local farming practices before continuing toward the beautiful Tam Giang Lagoon.

At Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest brackish water lagoon system in Southeast Asia, we visit a traditional fishing village where you'll gain insight into the daily life of local fishermen and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this unique coastal region.

After lunch at a local seaside restaurant overlooking Lang Co Bay, we begin the highlight of the day — riding the legendary Hai Van Pass. Often regarded as one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world, the Hai Van Pass offers breathtaking views of mountains, coastline, and the sparkling waters of the East Sea. At the summit, we stop to explore the historic French and American military bunkers while enjoying panoramic views across the entire coastline.

Descending from the pass, we continue to Da Nang to visit Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the impressive 67-meter-tall Lady Buddha Statue. From this spectacular viewpoint, you can admire sweeping views of Da Nang City, Son Tra Peninsula, and the surrounding coastline.

Our final attraction is the famous Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone hills featuring ancient caves, Buddhist sanctuaries, temples, and panoramic viewpoints. This cultural and spiritual landmark provides a memorable final stop before reaching Hoi An.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION

• Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• No scooters are used on this tour.
• Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
• For self-riding guests, we recommend bringing your own riding gear, including a jacket, pants, gloves, and appropriate shoes or boots, as the sizes of our protective equipment may not be suitable for everyone.
• Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. 
• Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.

LUGGAGE

• The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

• For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase separately to the tour's endpoint; however, an additional transportation fee will apply.
