TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: HOI AN → KHAM DUC: 130 KM

Cham Heritage & Mountain Roads

Leave the ancient town of Hoi An behind and begin your Easy Rider adventure into the mountains of Central Vietnam. Today's ride takes you away from the busy tourist routes and into a landscape of rolling hills, lush forests, ethnic villages, and winding roads leading toward the Central Highlands.

After departing Hoi An, we visit a traditional incense-making village, where you can observe local artisans preserving a centuries-old craft. We then stop at a Cao Dai Temple to learn about one of Vietnam’s most unique religions, which blends elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity, and other spiritual traditions.

Continuing into the mountains, we visit an ancient Cham temple, a fascinating reminder of the once-powerful Champa Kingdom that ruled much of Central Vietnam for centuries. The temple's architecture reflects a unique fusion of local craftsmanship and Indian influences, offering insight into the region's rich cultural heritage.

As we climb higher into the mountains, enjoy spectacular views of valleys, forests, and winding roads. Along the way, we stop for Vietnamese coffee and fresh tropical fruit while taking in the peaceful scenery of the countryside. Hidden waterfalls along the route provide opportunities to relax, explore, and experience the natural beauty of the region.

In the afternoon, we visit a traditional Co Tu ethnic minority village, where you'll learn about the customs, culture, and daily life of one of Central Vietnam's indigenous communities. Before reaching Kham Duc, we stop at a beautiful waterfall for a short walk and a refreshing swim surrounded by nature.

Arriving in Kham Duc in the late afternoon, we check into our hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in this quiet mountain town.

DAY 2: KHAM DUC → KON TUM: 180 KM

Ho Chi Minh Trail, Indochina Border & Kon Tum Wooden Church

Today’s ride takes us deeper into Vietnam’s Central Highlands along one of the most legendary roads in Southeast Asia—the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Surrounded by lush mountains, dense forests, and remote ethnic communities, this is a day filled with spectacular scenery, fascinating history, and cultural discoveries.

Leaving Kham Duc after breakfast, we follow the winding Ho Chi Minh Trail through some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Central Vietnam. Once a vital supply route during the Vietnam War, this historic road now offers an unforgettable riding experience with quiet roads, sweeping valleys, and endless jungle-covered mountains.

By midday, we reach the Indochina Junction, where Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia meet. This unique landmark marks the crossroads of three nations and offers a memorable photo opportunity in one of the most remote regions of the country.

Continuing north, we arrive in Ngoc Hoi, a region closely linked to Vietnam's wartime history. Along the way, we visit historical sites including Charlie Hill and Phoenix Airfield, where fierce battles once took place during the Vietnam War. These locations provide valuable insight into the strategic importance of the Central Highlands and the events that shaped the region.

In the afternoon, we ride through beautiful highland scenery toward Kon Tum, home to several ethnic minority communities including the Ba Na people. Upon arrival, we visit the famous Wooden Church, one of the most iconic landmarks in the Central Highlands. Built in 1913, this unique church combines traditional indigenous architecture with French colonial influences, creating a remarkable cultural and architectural masterpiece.

After a rewarding day of riding through mountains, history, and ethnic cultures, we arrive at our hotel in Kon Tum and enjoy a relaxing evening in this charming highland town.

DAY 3: KON TUM → CHU SE: 110 KM

Ba Na Culture, Sea Lake & Highland Tea Plantations

Today offers a wonderful combination of ethnic culture, highland landscapes, and some of the most iconic sights around Pleiku. Although the distance is shorter, there is plenty to discover along the way as we journey through the heart of Vietnam's Central Highlands.

Before leaving Kon Tum, we take a scenic village road to Kon Katu Village, home to the Ba Na people, one of the region's most fascinating ethnic minority groups. Here, we visit the impressive Rong House, a traditional communal building distinguished by its soaring roof and unique architecture. Serving as the cultural heart of the village, the Rong House is where community gatherings, ceremonies, and celebrations take place.

As we explore the village, you'll gain insight into the daily life, customs, and traditions of the Ba Na people. We also visit local families who continue to preserve traditional handicrafts such as weaving and wood carving, showcasing skills that have been passed down through generations.

Leaving Kon Tum behind, we continue along scenic roads through the Central Highlands toward Pleiku. Our next stop is the famous Sea Lake (Bien Ho), often referred to as the "Eyes of Pleiku." Formed within an ancient volcanic crater, this peaceful lake is surrounded by pine forests and offers stunning panoramic views of the highland landscape.

The journey continues to one of the oldest tea plantations in the region, established during the French colonial era. Stroll through endless rows of vibrant green tea fields, learn about local tea cultivation, and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere that makes this area one of the most picturesque destinations in the Central Highlands.

Nearby, we visit a historic Buddhist temple known for its impressive reclining Buddha statue and peaceful setting, offering a moment of relaxation and reflection before continuing our ride.

Arriving in Chu Se in the late afternoon, we check into our hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the cool climate and natural beauty of the Central Highlands.

DAY 4: CHU SE → BUON MA THUOT ( BMT CITY): 160 KM

Phu Cuong Waterfall, Coffee Country & Highland Cultures

Today’s journey takes us through the fertile heart of Vietnam’s Central Highlands, a region famous for its coffee plantations, waterfalls, ethnic cultures, and vast agricultural landscapes. Expect a relaxing ride along quiet countryside roads with plenty of opportunities to experience local life.

After breakfast, we ride to the spectacular Phu Cuong Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Central Highlands. Cascading over volcanic rock formations and surrounded by lush greenery, this impressive waterfall provides a perfect introduction to the natural beauty of the region.

Continuing through peaceful village roads and rural landscapes, we visit local pepper plantations where you'll learn about one of Vietnam’s most valuable agricultural products and have the chance to taste fresh pepper directly from the vine. We also stop at rubber plantations, an important part of the Central Highlands economy, where your guide will explain the harvesting process and the role rubber has played in the region's development.

As we ride deeper into Dak Lak Province, enjoy scenic views of coffee farms, rice fields, and rolling countryside that have made this region famous throughout Vietnam. After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue toward Buon Ma Thuot, widely regarded as the coffee capital of Vietnam.

In the afternoon, we visit the Dak Lak Museum (closed on Mondays), one of the most important cultural museums in the Central Highlands. Designed in the style of a traditional longhouse, the museum offers fascinating insights into the history, culture, and traditions of the region. Through exhibits showcasing ethnic minority communities such as the Ede, M’nong, and Gia Rai people, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the diverse cultures that make the Central Highlands so unique.

Arriving in Buon Ma Thuot in the late afternoon, we check into our hotel and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this vibrant highland city.

DAY 5: BMT CITY → LAK LAKE: 130 KM

Dray Sap Waterfall, Local Villages & Lak Lake

Today’s ride combines fascinating history, local craftsmanship, and some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Central Highlands as we journey from Buon Ma Thuot to the peaceful shores of Lak Lake.

Leaving Buon Ma Thuot in the morning, we visit the historic Dak Lak Prison ( Closed on Monday), a significant landmark dating back to the French colonial era. Once used to detain political prisoners and independence fighters, the prison stands today as a powerful reminder of Vietnam’s struggle for freedom and resilience throughout its history.

Continuing into the countryside, we stop at a local cacao plantation where you can learn about chocolate production from bean to bar and enjoy a refreshing cup of locally produced hot or iced chocolate. Along the way, we also visit traditional villages known for handmade rice noodles and mushroom cultivation, offering an authentic glimpse into rural life in the Central Highlands.

After enjoying a local lunch, we head to the magnificent Dray Sap Waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in the region. Surrounded by lush jungle and volcanic landscapes, the waterfall provides a perfect opportunity to relax, explore the surrounding forest, and capture stunning photographs of this natural wonder.

In the afternoon, we continue riding through peaceful farmland, ethnic villages, and scenic countryside roads before crossing a small local ferry on our way to Lak Lake. Nestled among mountains and forests, Lak Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in the Central Highlands and is renowned for its tranquil beauty, traditional stilt houses, and rich ethnic culture.

Arriving in Lak Lake in the late afternoon, you can relax by the water, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and experience the unique charm of this beautiful highland destination.

DAY 6: LAK LAKE  → DA LAT: 160 KM

Lake Sunrise, Coffee Culture & Easy Rider Roads to Da Lat

An early start rewards us with one of the most peaceful experiences of the entire tour. At sunrise, we take a traditional dugout canoe across the calm waters of Lak Lake, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and M’nong villages, the lake offers a glimpse into a way of life that has remained unchanged for generations. Along the shoreline, you may spot fishermen casting their nets, water buffalo grazing nearby, and local villagers beginning their day.

Back on land, we take time to explore Lak Village, where the indigenous M’nong people continue to preserve their traditional stilt houses, handicrafts, and unique cultural heritage. Walking through the village provides an authentic insight into daily life in the Central Highlands, far from the busy tourist routes.

Leaving Lak Lake behind, our Easy Rider motorbike tour heads south through scenic countryside roads toward Da Lat. The ride features beautiful mountain landscapes, winding roads, and endless views of coffee farms and farmland that make this region one of the highlights of any Vietnam motorbike adventure.

Along the way, we stop at a local coffee plantation, where you will learn about Vietnam’s coffee industry and sample different varieties, including Robusta, Arabica, and the famous Weasel Coffee. We then visit a local family to discover the traditional process of making homemade rice wine and enjoy a tasting of this strong local specialty.

In the afternoon, we continue to a traditional silkworm factory, where you can see the fascinating journey from cocoon to silk products. Our final major stop is the impressive Elephant Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Da Lat. Nearby, we visit a Buddhist temple complex featuring a giant Happy Buddha and one of the tallest Lady Buddha statues in southern Vietnam.

After a rewarding day combining nature, culture, and some of the best riding roads in the Central Highlands, we arrive in Da Lat at approximately 5:00 PM.

DAY 7: DALAT → DI LINH: 110 KM

Crazy House and Pongour Waterfall 

After a relaxed breakfast in Da Lat, we start a lighter and more scenic riding day, giving you time to enjoy the charm of the Central Highlands after several adventurous days on the road. The journey begins with a visit to the famous Crazy House, a surreal and imaginative architectural masterpiece designed by Vietnamese architect Đặng Việt Nga. With its twisting staircases, organic shapes, and fairy-tale atmosphere, it feels like stepping into a living artwork.

We then continue to the Bao Dai King Summer Palace, once the retreat of Vietnam’s last emperor. Surrounded by peaceful pine forests, the palace offers a glimpse into royal life during the French colonial era, with preserved rooms, artifacts, and elegant architecture reflecting a quieter chapter of Vietnamese history.

Next, we ride to the beautiful Tuyen Lam Lake, where calm waters and pine-covered hills create one of Da Lat’s most peaceful landscapes. It’s a perfect place to relax, take photos, and enjoy the fresh mountain air before continuing deeper into the highlands. We also visit a nearby K’Ho ethnic village, where you can walk through the community with your guide and learn about the traditional lifestyle and culture of the local people who have lived in this region for generations.

After lunch, we head out of Da Lat toward one of Vietnam’s most impressive waterfalls—Pongour Waterfall. Known for its wide, multi-tiered rock formations and powerful flow, it is especially spectacular during the rainy season when the surrounding forest becomes lush and vibrant. In the afternoon, we continue riding through winding mountain roads, coffee plantations, and rural countryside landscapes on the way to Di Linh, enjoying some of the most scenic stretches of the entire journey.

We arrive in Di Linh by late afternoon and check into your hotel, ending a beautiful and relaxed day on the road.

DAY 8: DI LINH →  MUI NE: 140 KM

Discover tea plantations, K’Ho ethnic culture, dragon fruit farms, and the iconic White Sand Dunes as you journey from the Central Highlands to Mui Ne’s beautiful coastline.

After breakfast, continue your Easy Rider adventure through the rolling hills of Di Linh, home to some of Vietnam’s largest tea-growing regions. Surrounded by endless green plantations, you'll learn about traditional tea cultivation while enjoying spectacular views across the misty highlands.

Leaving the mountains behind, ride through scenic countryside roads and experience the dramatic transition from the cool Central Highlands to the warmer coastal region. Along the way, visit a local dragon fruit farm, where you'll discover why Binh Thuan Province is considered Vietnam’s dragon fruit capital. Depending on the season, you'll have the opportunity to taste fresh dragon fruit straight from the farm.

The journey continues to a traditional K’Ho ethnic village, where you'll gain insight into the customs, culture, and daily life of one of Vietnam’s indigenous communities. Your guide will share stories about the history and traditions of the K’Ho people, providing a deeper understanding of the cultural diversity of the Central Highlands.

As the landscape changes from mountains to sandy plains, arrive at the spectacular White Sand Dunes, one of Mui Ne’s most iconic attractions. Rising above a peaceful lake and surrounded by unique desert-like scenery, the dunes offer breathtaking views and excellent photo opportunities. The constantly shifting sands create a remarkable landscape unlike anywhere else in Vietnam.

Continue toward the coast, where you'll stop at Mui Ne Fishing Village to observe the daily activities of local fishermen and the colorful round basket boats that line the shoreline. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the authentic coastal lifestyle that has sustained local communities for generations.

The final stretch follows scenic coastal roads with beautiful ocean views before arriving in Mui Ne in the late afternoon, around 4:00 PM.

DAY 9: MUI NE →  LONG HAI: 190 KM

Coastal Road and Minh Dam Army Base

The motorbike journey today from Mui Ne to Long Hai is a picturesque coastal route that showcases some of Vietnam's most stunning seaside scenery. Starting in Mui Ne, a popular beach destination known for its sand dunes and beaches, the route takes us along winding coastal roads with breathtaking views of the South China Sea. One of the highlights of this journey is Ke Ga Islet, located about halfway along the route. This small islet is home to Vietnam’s oldest lighthouse, built by the French in the late 19th century. The Ke Ga Lighthouse, standing against a backdrop of rocky cliffs and turquoise waters, offers a unique photo opportunity and a chance to explore an untouched part of Vietnam's coastline.

As we continue toward Long Hai, we’ll pass through traditional fishing villages, stunning coastal cliffs, and peaceful beaches. The road is lined with coconut trees and fishing boats, creating an ideal mix of natural beauty and local culture. This scenic drive is perfect for those looking to enjoy a slower-paced, coastal journey with plenty of opportunities to stop, take in the views, and discover hidden gems along Vietnam's beautiful southeastern coast.
Before coming to our hotel in Long Hai, we will visit the Minh Dam Army Base, a historic site of the Vietnam war that served as a strategic base for the Viet Minh and Viet Cong forces during the wars against French and American forces. Located in the Minh Dam Mountains, it’s a place of both natural beauty and historical significance, as the rocky terrain and dense forests provide excellent cover and strategic advantage for guerrilla fighters. We arrive at our hotel at 5 pm.

DAY 10: LONG HAI →  HO CHI MINH CITY: 120 KM

Salt Farms, Dong Nai Ferry, and Saigon Arrival

We start early from Long Hai to avoid the busy highway traffic heading toward Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest and most dynamic metropolis. As we leave the coastal town behind, the road quickly turns into a mix of countryside scenery and rural life.

Our first stop is the traditional salt farms of Long Hai, where locals continue the centuries-old method of harvesting salt through natural evaporation. The white salt fields stretching under the sun create a unique and photogenic landscape, offering a glimpse into one of Vietnam’s most important coastal livelihoods.

Continuing the journey, we visit a peaceful Zen Monastery, designed with a blend of traditional Vietnamese Buddhist architecture and minimalist Zen style. This quiet stop is perfect for a short walk, meditation atmosphere, and a refreshing break from the road.

We then continue inland to the impressive Cao Dai Temple, one of Vietnam’s most unique spiritual sites. Caodaism combines elements of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, and Confucianism, symbolizing harmony between different beliefs and cultures.

From here, we take the short Dong Nai River ferry crossing, offering a calm and scenic moment before entering the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City. After the ferry, we ride through countryside roads surrounded by lush greenery and stop at the famous rubber plantations, where rows of trees stretch across the landscape and showcase one of southern Vietnam’s key agricultural industries.

By mid-afternoon, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City before rush hour, marking the end of an unforgettable motorbike journey from coast to countryside, mountains, and cultural heartlands of Vietnam.

• The tour price does not include a support vehicle, but we can arrange these services for an additional cost if needed.
• The tour cost can be changed depending on the low/high tourist season or other special requests. Please contact us to get the right price for your tour.
• Please note that the Dak Lak Museum and Dak Lak Prison are closed every Monday.
• While direct access to Elephant Waterfall is temporarily restricted, visitors can still admire its impressive beauty from the viewing area at Linh An Pagoda.
• If you would like meals to be included, an additional charge of USD 20 per person per day will apply.

MOTORBIKE INFORMATION

• Easy Rider passengers will ride on Honda Winner 150cc, Honda XR150, or other reliable, larger-displacement motorcycles that are well-suited to these mountain passes and winding roads, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• No scooters are used on this tour.
• Self-riding motorcycles are available for an additional rental fee.
• For self-riding guests, we recommend bringing your own riding gear, including a jacket, pants, gloves, and appropriate shoes or boots, as the sizes of our protective equipment may not be suitable for everyone.
• Guests wishing to self-ride should hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP – 1968 Convention) together with the appropriate motorcycle licence from their home country. Some licenses may not be valid in Vietnam. Please contact us for guidance on how to ride legally in Vietnam if your license is not valid. 
• Citizens from all Southeast Asian countries can legally ride a motorbike in Vietnam using their valid domestic motorcycle license. There is no need to convert it to an International Driving Permit (IDP), according to the ASEAN agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses among Southeast Asian countries.

LUGGAGE

• The backpack can be carried securely on the motorcycle or arranged separately upon request.

• For convenience, we recommend traveling with a backpack instead of a suitcase, as it is easier to secure on the motorcycle. If needed, we can arrange to transport your suitcase separately to the tour's endpoint; however, an additional transportation fee will apply.
