TOUR DESCRIPTION

The Easy Rider - motorbike tour from Hoi An to Hue via Prao offers a more adventurous and scenic route through the mountainous and forested landscapes of central Vietnam. This route takes you through quiet villages, lush jungles, and the famous Ho Chi Minh Trail rather than the usual coastal highway.

DAY 1: HOI AN TO PRAO: 150 KM

Leave early at 8:30 am, we will take the coastline from Hoi An to Da Nang to visit Marble Mountain, it is a group of five limestone and marble hills located just south of Da Nang. Each mountain is named after one of the five natural elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Water Mountain is the largest area, it offers caves, pagodas, and stunning viewpoints over the surrounding area. When we walk to the top of Water Mountain, it is best to see the panoramic views of Da Nang’s coastline, beaches, and cityscape. We can take the elevator to the top or hike up the stone steps to see the marvelous view. Then, we will visit Linh Ung pagoda which is one of the unique pagodas in Da Nang, take a short walk to the pagoda to see the 67 meters high of Lady Buddha statue, and look over Da Nang city and the ocean.

After visiting Marble Mountain, we will ride through Hai Van Pass where you will be surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views. The Hai Van Pass which means “Sea of Cloudy Pass”, is where you will be surrounded by clouds with stunning ocean views,  we can admire the beautiful panorama, and enjoy a number of the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam. There is an old French bunker at the top of the Hai Van Pass, which we also climb to the top to visit, this bunker was built during the French colonial period in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, these bunkers served as a strategic military post. Positioned at the top of Hai Van Pass, they allowed the French to monitor movement along this critical route between North and South Vietnam. During the Vietnam War, both the French and American forces utilized the bunkers as observation posts due to the vantage point provided by the Hai Van Pass. In this pass where you can admire the beautiful panorama, and enjoy the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam, here we can enjoy our time resting and taking some walks on the mountain.

Having lunch at the local restaurant next to the beach we will continue to Dream waterfall where you can relax and swim. Dream Stream known as “ Suoi Mo” is a hidden gem located near Lang Co Beach, this serene spot is nestled in the mountains just a few kilometers from the main coastal area of Lang Co Beach. Known for its lush green surroundings, crystal-clear waters, and cascading waterfalls, Suoi Mo provides a peaceful escape for those seeking nature, tranquility, and adventure. Then we continue to ride to Prao Town through the Ho Chi Minh Trail and visit a green Tea plantation and ethnic village. Arrive at Prao at 4 pm.

DAY 2: PRAO TO HUE: 170 KM

Continue our second adventure day along the Ho Chi Minh Trail- Also known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail, is a legendary route stretching from north to south Vietnam, largely following the old supply trail used during the Vietnam War. Today, it’s a paved highway that offers one of the most scenic and adventurous road trips in Vietnam, cutting through mountains, dense jungles, remote villages, and historically significant sites. We will stop in the beautiful location where you can see the stunning view of valleys and our guide will try their best to tell you about our history to let you understand more about the Vietnam War.

Back on the bike, we will ride through the pristine jungle, and enjoy the spectacular mountain view. Ready for swimming and relaxing in the beautiful waterfall then continue riding through the highlands to visit the ethnic minority village before to A Luoi town for lunch.

After lunch, we will ride up to the top of Ma Oi Pass, a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and forests. We stop at the rubber plantations where we will explain to you about the tree which is the third natural latex rubber exported in the world and we also tell you about the trees that were destroyed during the  Vietnam War by Agent Orange Powder. We arrive in Hue around 5 pm.

 • During the trip, we provide private rooms at the homestay or 2-star hotel standard. If you want to upgrade to a higher hotel standard, please request it which incurs an extra charge.

 • The tour price does not include a support vehicle but we can arrange this service for an additional cost if needed
