Vietnam by Motorcycle, 21 Days
I booked the Saigon to Hanoi 14 day tour, and Bruno, my driver/guide and I set off in rush hour traffic-I was happy that he was driving, not me! After a few days on the road, things were going so well that he agreed to head into the far north as well, adding an additional 7 days to the tour. I think this must be your longest trip! Overall, I cannot say enough good things about my experience. First, Bruno was excellent, both as a safe driver, and as a wonder guide to the country. Second, our weather cooperated, and we only had one brief rain shower. Bruno was prepared with full gear for both of us, and we stayed pretty dry. Finally, meals and accommodation were great. I would say the trip had 3 themes. First, "Scenic Vietnam". Beaches, waterfalls and mountains, terraced rice paddies, the coast, the Central Highlands, caves, the far north-right up to China. We obviously didn't see the entire country, but we sure saw a lot! Second, "The Struggle for Independance and Unity". We visited many sites related to the French and American wars, and visited "Uncle Ho's" birth place and memorial shrine. It is hard to imagine the tremendous hardships the people went through to obtain the country's freedom. Finally, "Vietnam Life" We visited literally dozens of people working in a huge variety of small farms and businesses. Lizard ranch? We were there. Mushroom farm? We toured that as well. Silk, from the mulberry bushes, to the worms, cocoons, silk, and spinning/weaving beautiful finished products (both by machine and hand); tea plantations, from cultivating, picking and processing the leaves. Blacksmith shop, Brick Factory, rubber shock cord manufacturing, Happy Water factory, (with samples) Chopsticks factory, incense factory, and farms of every sort. Rice in all stages of growth and multiple methods of harvesting, and rice products such as rice paper, noodles, etc. Bruno would stop at all these places, we would meet the people working there, and they would explain the operation to us. Fortunately he was able to translate for me. Everyone seemed very friendly and willing to talk. And tropical orchards! From dragonfruit, passion fruit, durian, black pepper, cinammon processing, jackfruit, mangoes-we saw them all, and managed to sample many! And markets! And coffee! All sorts, including meeting the weasels of Weasel Coffee. The way things worked out, I also had the opportunity to meet some of Bruno's friends and family, and this added a personal touch to the tour that was very special. As a result of my tour, I will always have fond memories of Vietnam and its people. Tom Ripley from Canada

3 days tour from Da Lat to Nha Trang
We booked a 3 days Trip with our safe and funny divers Marley and Di. Although it wasn't that cheap it was definitively worth it!! We visited different plantations Luke coffee, passionfruit, cacao, silk aso. We stayed one night in a typical long house, which was a cool experience and the showed us besides the famous Elephant Waterfalls some hidden spots where we also could swim. Overall it made our trip to Vietnam really special & unforgetable and we can highly recommend these guys and the Tour.

5 days Saigon to Dalat
My wife and me booked a 5 days 4 nights trip from Saigon to Dalat. It was very heartening to learn that Mr. Lee & Michael rode all the way 320 over km from Dalat to Saigon just to ensure that we were able to fulfill this trip. Throughout the 5 days with Lee & Michael, they are very both careful, experience and helpful riders. They are able to bring us to so many interesting places that no conducted tours will be able to do. We rode along the Coastline, Off the beaten track, along the mountainous region, country side, villages and even plantations. Wherever possible, both riders will not hesitate to stop and bring us to interesting places and enlightened us with the history of it. We had so.many opportunities to try the local cuisines & dishes and even had splendid seafood in Mui Ne. For the 5 days with Mr. Lee & Michael, we are just like great friends travelling together. The final stay in Dalat Camly Hotel was really clean with nice view which we were very happy. For those who intend to book any bike trips, dont look further, vietnameasyriders.com.vn is the one for you. Look for Mr. Lee & Michael. Thanks from KC Leong & Grace ( Singapore )
